About
Turnberry Golf Club may not have the length of its sister course located only 20 minutes away, Eagles Nest, but it has the same challenging character and unique layout. Molded from abandoned quarries, massive outcroppings of earth were recreated to look like the seaside dunes of Eagles Nest. This 3,400-yard, executive layout has sparse vegetation, generous green complexes, and strategically placed bunkers. The golf course begins and ends with a long par 4 with an interesting variety of par 3s in between. Each hole was designed completely unique from one another to emphasize variety and playability. At Turnberry Golf Club, golfers will be forced to use every club in their bag.

Golfer Reviews
Good Practice Course
Decent course and in good shape for the time of year. Definitely able to use most of the clubs in the bag. Pace of play was decent and it was quiet.
Good practice facility right beside the course. It was off mats and hopefully it’s a grass range in summer. I’d come back for sure with friends!
Worth another visit
First and last holes were par 4's the rest par 3's. The fairways were in good condition although a few were a bit soggy, greens were in excellent shape, large greens mostly and the majority were undulating; so a bit tricky when putting. The whole course is a bit hilly so a lot of uneven lies, bunkers were hard (not soft fluffy sand) and hole positions were challenging.
Toilets midway were closed, no water stations anywhere on the course, carts are around $17 per rider so a bit expensive for an executive course, small bucket (30 balls) is around $10 for the range and $17 (60 balls) for a large bucket. The putting practice greens were in excellent condition and worth trying out. Very friendly and helpful staff all around and if you're hungry the restaurant is definitely worth a visit

The best executive course yet.
The green and fairways mostly short are in very good condition. The greens are very challenging. You need to have a very good short game to make it under 80 on this course. And you did okay if you get under 90 for only a 56 par course. I'll have to do it again someday to see if i fair better than my 92 I got yesterday. I must say my putting was horrendous.
