About
The 6,810 yard SugarTree Golf Club layout includes the banks of the Brazos River, 55 sand bunkers, water features, and challenging fairways lined by live oaks, pecans, hackberry trees, and others. Water is in play on 13 holes and you need to bend tee shots left and right. In voting by Texas PGA Professionals, SugarTree Golf Club was selected number 18 in the entire state of Texas.

In great shape!
The greens are in tip top shape, your ball sticks, none of this hitting the green short of the flag and flying off the back. Please fix your green divots! ...lol
Fairways are also in great shape!

Tee Time In Texas
Visiting family in Texas afforded us the opportunity to play this course. Nice Course, Friendly staff, great views!
Very nice views around the river.
First time to play this course. Very nice. A lot of blind holes ,my GPS was handy.
Wonderful Experience
Sugar Tree is a little over an hour away from where I live, but it's worth the trip! The course is always in great shape, the greens are perfect, and the the fairways are great. The course is a great test. I don't have anything negative to say about this place.
Must Play
Hidden gem...take a day to leave the metro DFW area and enjoy the beautiful countryside and surprisingly lovely course layout. You will have to work the golf ball to score. Fantastic views, challenging shots. I recommend the experience.

The course was in really nice shape. Very nice greens. Pace of play was good. Cart girl was fantastic. I highly recommend playing this course.

A favorite of mine. Sits in an area defined by nature. No city or highway sounds so you feel like you're way out in the country. Part of it is lined by the Brazos River. Even if I have a terrible game, it's still worth the drive. I'll go every chance I get.
The most picturesque course in the area.
This course is the best maintained that I have played this year.
The greens are near perfect as are the fairways. It is about 35 minutes from my home but well worth the drive. The carts are in excellent condition and very clean. We played on a Monday morning and there was no one immediately ahead or behind us.A most enjoyable day.

The price was absolutely amazing and the course was beautiful and layed out well.I had played this course many years ago and it has matured well. I highly recomend plaing it and I will again.

Course was in great shape. Greens were in great shape and rolled well. Very beautiful course. Make sure to bring some bug spray though. Seems like more bugs here than any other course I've played.

This course is very tight and requires great placement to score
My favorite course of all time. You really have to know the know course and play well placed shots to be able to score. This course is very challenging for all levels. Greens are in awesome shape. One of Texas's hidden gems
Great Hidden Gem
I drive over 2 hours to play this course a few times a year. It's always in great shape and even without the golfnow deal it's still a bargain to play such a well maintained course. You have to make sure you polish up on all your clubs in the bag because you're gonna need them. Lots of holes are an iron off the tee or 3 wood because most holes are pretty tight. If you haven't ever played it you're missing out. This trip I got to witness my buddy hit his first hole in one on a very scenic par 3, talk about excitement!!
Good, challenging course
Trust me, this course can be difficult especially in the wind. Quite a few shots are blind from the tee box. My only reservation about the place is the practice range as only 10 or so people can practice at one time. Not sure there are many options with this but do not consider it a deal breaker.

What a great course! It's definitely worth the drive. The course was in great shape and I really enjoyed the layout. It was challenging but not unfair. Very scenic and you get the feel that you are away from everything. Didn't appear to get a lot of play, probably because of the distant location. Not crowded at all either, and that was on a Sunday. Felt like we had the entire course to ourselves! I will ABSOLUTELY be adding this course to my list of favorites!
Fun course
Only complant is the same as most of these courses always give me a hard time with golf now tee time . First answer is (we don't or NO ) Tired of it!

Love the course, love the easy drive out there, and the bang for buck I got with GolfNow is almost surreal.
I can't wait to get out there again.
