Royal St. Cloud Golf Links - White/Blue Course

Course was very good.

Reservation w/ GolfNow had an issue. It was not forwarded to Royal St Cloud. My reservation was cancelled one day before schedule of play.

It was resolved after phone calls to GolfNow.

It was still annoying and frustrating.

Course was in reasonable shape given the high rate of play. Greens were a bit slower than last time I played but rolled true.

Turned to be told course had only opened 5 mins ago so at least we got to play. Red/White this time. This course was always a favourite of ours but the added waste areas make it look scruffy.

Really good course with good challenging layout for all levels. Nice change of tees on blue and red. Pace of play slow on first nine but better on second nine as we just dodged a competition so no-one in front. Marshall needs to keep golfers to the pace expected. We scored all aspects nearly 5 apart from the food and the restrooms. Food and drink offer is extremely limited for such a nice club and course - needs improvement. The restrooms on the course are a total disgrace - filthy, smelling and not clean. No facility to even wash hands. Water facilities on the course not working and disgusting tasting water - a health hazard.

There were 2 fivesomes ahead of us not happy made for slow play Most courses don’t allow this.

We played the course on Friday afternoon, so take this for what it’s worth.

However, I have never seen this type of chaos on a golf course. We were directed to start on the red tees. When we rolled up, there were already 4 groups waiting to tee off on the reds, with an additional 4-5 groups on the first two holes. We eventually started on the white course, and played 9 holes in about two hours. Then, we tried the blue course and that’s when it really went downhill. By the time we got to the third hole, there were literally 6 groups on holes 3 & 4. I have never seen multiple groups waiting to tee off like that in my life. Needless to say, we threw in the towel and left.

The course in itself was in pretty good shape, and the greens were well kept. They were a little slow from an earlier rain storm, still, not bad.

RSC has the potential to be a nice course, IF there is some direction from management

A bit disappointed. Paid for range balls but had to wait for buggy and was then rushed to the tee. Had to leave more than half of the range balls and rushed start not great.

Areas of wasteland been added since we were last here and not sure it enhances the course.

Quite slow round but was ok.

Found marshall a bit unhelpful but other staff were great.

Coming back Monday so hoping it will be less hectic.

Royal St Cloud is a hidden Ggem of a golf course in Orlando area. With three nine-hole tracks it provides a great amount of variety. The green fees are very reasonable. And at the time we were there which is April 2023 the course was in fantastic shape. The restaurant is very reliable , the food is good. and the service is exceptional. We'll be coming back.

The course was in excellent shape considering we haven’t had any rain in 4 months . Play was good . Will deyplay it again
