Royal St. Cloud Golf Links - White/Blue Course
About
There are three unique nine-hole courses at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. All three nines have the feel of a traditional Scottish links golf course, but each one provides a variety of different challenges. The White/Blue layout is spread across a rolling terrain with true links-style fairways and bunkers. Trees are sparse and there are no homes on or around the golf course. The sod and wood-faced bunkers will make you feel as though you’ve taken a vacation to the British Isles. In addition to the three courses, Royal St. Cloud Golf Links also offers a lighted driving range and a short game area with bunkers.

First timers at St Cloud
Coming from the UK we are used to links golf. This is Florida ´s version but no less enjoyable for that. Looked really busy when we arrived and had seen previous comments about slow play. However we got round in 4.15 hours and would have been quicker except for a group of guys who stopped play to make/take very important phone calls (we have a word for that in Yorkshire). Other than that the course was interesting, fair and in pretty good condition with good greens. So well done St Cloud - don’t know why we haven’t played you before over the last 20 years of coming hear but would definitely do again.
Royal St. Cloud Golf Links
This is a very nice course and a great deal for your money. Course was in great shape and the greens are top notch.
challenging and fun
We played all 27 holes Royal St. Cloud has to offer. The Red nine is a bit tighter than the White and Blue nines, but all were playable and offered a good challenge for our group. The courses were packed, so play was a bit slow at times, but overall, we had an excellent experience. Saw a few cranes and other birds, and a gator watched me birdie No. 3 on the White nine.
This course needs a little more help.
This is one of my favorite courses that I only get to play once or twice a year. No ranger and a slow group in front of us slowed play to a five hour round. Also, the men's room was not clean. The winter had been rough on the course and it wasn't quite up to its usual condition. I appreciate how they have kept prices reasonable and staff is always helpful and friendly. I hate that I can't give it a five star rating but if I"m being honest, four stars are the best I can do.
Tee blocks
Tee levels were not properly indicated on thr tee blocks, no signage. No Starter to direct first time players
Best DEAL in Orlando
First time playing this course and the warnings were loud and clear. . .the pace of play can be abysmal according to many. Everything else was positive so like any review, don't we have to take it with a little bit salt?
My tee time was 6:36am and it was dark when I pulled into the parking lot, but it was buzzing. I assumed I was in the first group, but it turns out that four foursomes were already out on the course! The reception was warm and inviting. although it was pretty clear that most of the folks buzzing around were members of the course.
As a single, you never know who you're grouped with and in this case, maybe three of the nicest guys you can hope to meet on a golf course and they were a regular group, but welcomed me like I had been playing with them for years. That alone makes or breaks a round.
So this time around I was in FL for a work trip, but we had just completed our annual guys to trip to Orlando two weeks and prior and I'm not telling anyone anything they're not seeing. The rates are out of control! I don't mind paying $200+ rounds when it's worth it, but it just seems that every "nice course is charging something in that neighborhood because they can and I don't blame them. They're a business. Then you have this gem. $55! 100% as good as courses we played a couple of weeks ago for 2-4X that amount.
$55. Great conditions, staff, members, and pace of play (3:45) for the cost makes this the STEAL in all of Orlando. Now had I teed off after 10:00am, I can't guarantee the same good feelings.
Great Day of Golf
This course is very well run/organized. We were able to access a cart quickly, pay for our round, & tee’d it up right on time. The pace of play was great. This was our first time playing the Red/White combo, and we loved it! I would definitely recommend this course.
Always a challenge but enjoyable!
I played here (Blue/Red) and enjoyed it, play was faster that time of year but the heat was stifling. March was much better weather while playing this time (Red/Blue), but the pace of play suffered. I would still come back due to the value of condition and layout. The carts we fast! Loved that!
What a treat
After playing 4 other courses this past week this was a pleasant surprise and in far better shape than any other courses. The greens were quick and very consistent. Enjoyed the course so much that we will play it again later this week
Great value. Great course.
Third time playing this year. Love the layout and the course is in great shape.
Best Value
We played the Red to White rotation. Greens were excellent, staff was friendly, starter was gracious and had great jokes. Definitely recommend this course.
Absolute Challenging Course
Played Red/Blue and very well pleased with the missed opportunities for Birdie/Par golf!!! What I mean is the fairways except for one tight fairway were wide open for a very good look at second shots to the green even on par 5s which I literally got within 90 yards on second shots. Only 1 of the par 3s proved to be a head scratcher but overall the rolling hills and near perfect greens made this course in my opinion a must play!!!
Glacial but Fun
Too many tee times, pace is glacial, but course is fun for all levels. Greens look banged up but roll real well with consistent speed. Push the spacing to 12 minutes
