Royal St. Cloud Golf Links - White/Blue Course
About
There are three unique nine-hole courses at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. All three nines have the feel of a traditional Scottish links golf course, but each one provides a variety of different challenges. The White/Blue layout is spread across a rolling terrain with true links-style fairways and bunkers. Trees are sparse and there are no homes on or around the golf course. The sod and wood-faced bunkers will make you feel as though you’ve taken a vacation to the British Isles. In addition to the three courses, Royal St. Cloud Golf Links also offers a lighted driving range and a short game area with bunkers.

Very Disappointing Experience
We played on February 4/2023. We had a 1204pm tee time for White and Blue 18. The tee times were extremely backed up and they had no carts available. We didn't get out until after 1pm. on Red amd White 18, not what we had booked. The round ended up taking 5 hours. Very overbooked and under managed that day. The course it self was fine. It would be nice to hear from them and perhaps offer another golf experience there.
Winter golf
Conditions of the course were great
Superintendent must have had a bad night. Every pin was in a corner behind a trap and on a side hill.
The course was packed and round took 5 hours but for the cost I would play again
Nice links type layout
Played the Blue & Red 9’s loved the blue red was fine but a little rough around the edges in condition. Great value the charger everyone the same price 👍
Busy
Course, pro shop and practice facilities overly busy- many non-playing practicers taking up the chipping area. Guys pulling vehicles up on the grass to park, carts whizzing all over, golfers parking carts near greens- and not one official out on the course. “Muny” atmosphere. Public course but greens and fairways in great condition considering the amount of play.
Royal Saint Cloud
This is an excellent facility and the quality of the courses is very very good. This is very good go9lfing value. We will definitely return and play this course again.
Room for improvement
We visited the course prior to booking at it all looked very nice. Nice pro shop with some nice clothes and equipment in.
We booked for a 1.20 tee time as it gets dark at 6.15 in February.
We arrived early and were told that we could go straight out at 12.45 as they were "30 minutes ahead of time". Happy days we thought and off we went.
2 holes took 40 minutes and that set the tone for the round! You spend a lot of time sitting in your very noisy buggy than you do playing the course.
At one point we were unsure as to wether or not we'd actually finish the round in daylight.
There are plenty of signs about slow play but quite frankly they're a waste of time.
You actually play 2 nine hole courses so at the turn we then had another golfer come in front of us which after 2 hours 40 minutes was just what we didn't need. By the way he admitted he didn't actually have a tee time as he was a member of staff!
The course is quite pretty with some strange features like telephone boxes and an animal with a calliper on it's leg!
Lots of water and some huge dunes make for some interesting shots.
The greens are poor with about a dozen previous locations very visible and bendy flag sticks.
Fairways are good.
We finally finished after 5 hours just as the sun was setting so it was just as well we went out early.
Long slow golf does nothing for your game and clearly they overbook for the financial benefits.
Sadly I wouldn't recommend this course
Course is always fun to play but it has really been hard to enjoy with the pace of play. We played twice on Sundays so we expected it to be slower but we recently played on a Monday and it was slower than the weekend. Not sure if they are shrinking times in between tee times but it is getting painful. We had to move from blue to red on one Sunday because there were four groups on ten at the turn🤯. Ranger might help but did not see one on any day we played. Rates are starting to climb a bit too which might take it off our list for next year. 🤔
Best value in the Orlando area
Pros
This course is in better shape than many of the resort courses or higher rated courses that cost double or more to play.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
Excellent range, separate short game area, three putting greens.
Snack bar food is good, the restaurant is even better.
27 holes and the third nine is a much different challenge.
You can join for less than $100 a month. Insane!!!!
Cons
Like every other semi-private course in central Florida, it’s crowded and slow.
Way too many unfixed ball marks from the shear volume of play and the fact that so many non-members play here.
Golf carts are not newer and have no touchscreen GPS.
Fun in sun
Great 3 layouts all in great shape. Greens run true and speed just right.
Beautiful
We are always pleased to play this course when we spend our winters in the area. The course was in great shape and the lay out is very enjoyable. Two thing that we would of like to see were marshalls to keep up the pace of play and a beverage cart (there was one near the clubhouse but never saw it on the course ) The group ahead of us were very slow at getting ready and we’re very slow at getting on and off the green. To make things worse there was a group that was very impatient and several times their shots fell dangerously close to our party.
Excellent greens, friendly staff
The starter was very helpful. I played the Blue and White courses ( there is a Red nine as well). The course is very open with some water. The primary defense is sand, with several waste areas and well bunkered greens,. The course was in very good shape, and the greens were fast and true. The course played fast and firm, and there are 5 different teeing areas. This course is very playable and a good value, and the wide fairways and lack of real trouble on many holes keep the play moving.
Gem of a course
Great course at a great price. Greens roll well and course in great shape
Great course
Great course, worth your money. Tricky greens and lots of fun.
Nice course but disorganized
I like the course and layout. It was kept in good condition and the people in played with were great. Staff is friendly and helpful. However they are very disorganized. No one to load bags to carts. People taking carts everywhere and not enough so when it came to our T time we still didn’t have one. Pace of play was slow (not awful but slow). No rangers to keep it moving makes for a long round.
Overall enjoyed the round, but I’d like to finish in under 4;30.
