Excellent course. Difficult but you have to play it forward.

Great course. Greens were a bit bumpy due to airation, but otherwise was great. Imagine it would be much tougher in summer conditions.

I have played this course several times before, and love it. At the golfnow rate, it's a top ten ever deal. Got paired with a "local" who was a hoot...lots of laughs. Bonus day of late October just made it even greater. Thanks for the wonderful Bayside experience!

Bayside Resort is a wonderfully laid out tract that offers challenges a-plenty. Fairway bunkers come into play on practically every hole as does water hazards. Definately intimidated by the Par 5 second hole with long water on the right so I left the driver in the bag. Probably most challenging were the greens! Undulation abounds and they were very quick. You will need extra balls at Bayside. Staff was stellar and I was humbled when the score card tallied 47/44 (91). Great course but you better be tactful with every shot!

Phenominal golf course. Very challenging, but very playable, forcing you to make shots. Filled with risk-reward options and various ways to play most holes. Conditions were fantastic, with true, quick greens.

The course is beautiful. I have played it several times. However, the pace of play was so poor we walked off the course after the 15th hole. At that time we were almost 1 hour behind pace of play. A large group in front of us was playing from tees beyond their imagination, waiting for the greens to clear and proceeded to hockey puck their way to the green.

We played this course for the second time and found it in great shape, fair but challenging and will be back next year.

Great course that is very challenging with great views. Greens are always very quick and the staff is always very friendly. I have played there several times and will continue to play there when I get the chance.

Didn't know the course had recently been aerated. Greens were extremely bumpy causing the ball to bounce off course AND it was cart path only. This is a brutal course to play cart path. Would have been a much more pleasant experience if the course had been in better shape

Very nice course but almost to difficult to enjoy. there wasn't really any wind on the course that I felt but the ball went nowhere. the ground must have been really wet. the layout is about as difficult as I have played. Don't expect to have one of your better rounds on this course(bring a lot of balls) Seriously !

This is one of the very best golf courses in the area.

I could not see paying regular rates for this course. Although it is a beautiful course with great views of north OC, I was able to play only because of the reduced rate. Keep it in the short grass and don't come up short to the greens and you will be fine.

The course was excellent, but they charged for range balls, despite the golfnow website stating that range balls were included.

LOT's of trouble to get into with water on most holes and over a hundred traps in all the places your ball wants to go.. Greens held very well and were reasonably fast and true. Scoring is possible if you hit it in the right spots. Fairway bunkers are killers though.
It's a beautiful layout with many very appealing looks.
I will definitely play it again.

The golf course is challenging, but worth the beating it gives you! Conditions were excellent, the price for this particular round cannot be beat, and I'd play there every week if the price was the same.

Excellent layout with lots of challenge. Greens were excellent and was a nice value for 60 bucks on a hot deal. There are a lot of forced carries so bring some extra balls.

4 th time vacationing here, by far best course that i have played in the area. The only thing that i did not like was the fact that the pro shop was closed when we got done (7:15) and we did not get to purchase anything.

We played a family foursome, father and three sons, all who are beginner to mid level play and while the course was challenging as expected we all were able to have many great shots and some that became a learning experience for continuous improvement.
The course was very well maintained and the atmosphere was very enjoyable for all. We will play again when on vacation. Very reasonable rates from booking at GolfNow.

Got a hot deal for this course, unbeatable deal for the money. Course in immaculate condition and very challenging. Must know the layout to score!

Staff dismissive to the point they seemed very disappointed that we got such a good deal on golfnow. Seemed extremely upset about it! Also, deal included range balls, the course refused to honor!

Excellent course, staff can take a hike!

Staff told us about the mold and damaged ares - they were pretty honest about its expanse. moderate to easy set up, water and sand not hard to avoid.
