Ocean Resorts Golf Club
About
Located just six miles west of Ocean City, Md., Ocean Resorts Golf Club is a good option if you're looking for a round that is fun to play but still a good value. The course is known for being player friendly enough for any skill level but there are still several challenges in store with multiple sets of tees that range from 4,800 to 6,500 yards. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also several strategically placed bunkers you'll have to contend with. The layout rewards proper club selection and good strategy but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. A unique aspect of Ocean Resorts is that it's owned by the Wor-Wic Community College.

Can’t beat early AM value golf
This is a split course with some significant improvements on the greens in the last few months. Thinning the trees lining this mature course is letting it dry naturally.
JC was visiting from PA and we finished in 3 hrs starting at 7:30 - can’t beat it!
Good condition fun course
The course was in pretty good condition. I played prior years and it is better than in past. The greens were slow
THANK YOU ELKS
We had a midday tee time, and the Elks group cancelled their tee times due to weather. It never rained. We had the course to ourselves. The course was in good condition. Hopefully with some rain it will stay in good shape.
Groups allowed to play deathly slow
Groups of low-skilled golfers played rotating length holes — red, green, white and blue — depending on hole. Slowed the pace of play to long waits for everyone. No marshal to push them along. Ruined a day of golf.
HOT N SUNNY
Me and my girlfriend had a late morning round. The place was very busy. It was 92 and sunny.
Finished our round in 3 hours 40 minutes. Great Shape.
Usually love playing this course.
Honestly for the value it is a nice course. They’ve put effort into improving all 18 holes. This day we were playing after a men’s league and their style of play created a massive back up on all starting at 1110. The style was start at the tip tee, then move down a tree each hole. It was ridiculous for everyone playing behind them. Ocean Resorts should publish when men’s league or tournaments are playing this style as it doubles our pace of play!
Great short course- fast round
The drought is starting to show but overall still played very well.
The front nine was in good shape. Back had a lot of sand on some greens. But overall the quality of the course has improved.
First time golfer in OC
Course was listed as a 3 star, but it was much better than that rating. Staff was very welcoming.
Came as expected
The course is interesting and more heavily wooded than most courses in Ocean City. Course requires some thought , its not a grip and rip it course. The issues with conditions were noticeable particularly in densely wooded areas where the greens have not grown in. One advantage is that during the time I was there it was getting little play so it was easy to get a tee time.
Worst Course Maintenance, EVER
This course should be a joy to play, as the location and layout are quite nice. Unfortunately, they do not maintain the course, at all. The greens were atrocious to the point of being unplayable, even for the casual golfer. There is absolutely no way to justify the $85 price tag. Ridiculous. Given the location, I could see paying $50 to play there, but it was not worth a penny more.
Greens so hairy and slow
Course layout great! Pace was great! Greens were horrible!!!
Don Brafy
We had a great time and staff was great to deal with.
