Ocean Resorts Golf Club

The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were poorly maintained. On top of the course conditions, the pace of play was ridiculous. After the 2nd hole, we never saw a ranger again. The group in front of us backed up three groups, with no one managing the pace of play.

It took us 5 hours and 15 minutes to play 18 holes. When I mentioned it at the clubhouse, the response was, “You finished, didn’t you?”

That response says a lot. A 5+ hour round with multiple groups backed up is not acceptable—it’s poor course management. Between the course conditions, lack of pace-of-play enforcement, and dismissive customer service, I definitely expected better.

The greens had a little crab grass. The sand traps had some water in them, but hey it's better than being at work on a Monday afternoon. Me and my girlfriend had a good time.

The starter and the pro shop guys were great guys and very welcoming. But this course needs a complete facelift. Tee boxes were awful, I’ve seen rough nicer than the fairways and the greens were atrocious. We booked it because it was less expensive than other courses around the OCMD area but even at their price point it just isn’t worth it. It’s not a bad layout so they just need someone to come in and fix it up and maintain it better.

We selected this for a change to Ocean Pines Golf club, very disappointed in the greens. course itself and the staff were great.

Although the greens need some work, everything about this course is great. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Pleasant.

I have played this course multiple times over the years and it is consistently a poorly maintained swamp. But last round this course takes first place for the worst course I have ever played. The greens were a mix of crab grass on a lunar landscape, literally unputtable. The fairways were a divot filled dog track. This course suffers from lack of drainage, Some holes we had to putt through a pond. Simply terrible. And to top it off, the management dropped in a single and rider 4 minutes before our team time. So we were blocked for the first 9 holes. Not playing there again until they clean up their act.

Upon getting to the clubhouse the staff was very friendly and nice course itself was kind of rough unmanicured. Lots of crabgrass. The greens were really bad. Maybe 6 out of 18 were an acceptable condition. That's all too much crabgrass too much dead ness in the greens, not well defined fairways. Very hard to find your ball even if you were towards the middle

Good course for the price. The guide book they provided was helpful since first time on the course. The back nine was diffently a challenge.. Some of the greens were a little worn/burnt, but still playable .

the course layout is fine. the condition are horrible. greens are mostly terrible the rough is not cut,and the fairways are bare or at best sparse.staff is great. should be large discount for playing conditions.

No matter how hard they try to turn this course around nothing works. Seems to be getting in worse condition every year. Wor-Wic community college is allegedly taking care of the course. They have to start doing a better job. As a side note, I've been playing this course since it opened
