Huge potential
In my opinion, under the right care, this course could be one of the best in Tennessee. It has such a great layout. Super hilly. Large creeks running through it. Rocky cliffs in certain areas. Truly great potential.
And then there’s reality. Every bunker is a dirt pit. They’re cutting the grass at 11 am on a Friday. literally teed off 10 with 2 tractors down below me on the fairway. The clubhouse store is bare. I book a solo on GolfNow, pay online specifically for a solo, then am told I have to pay a cart fee for being a solo once I’m there? Maybe that’s normal, idk. But not having a practice putting and chipping green available certainly isn’t. Made friends with the guys before and after me because the pace was extra slow. Eventually passed the guys in front of me because their cart broke down..
Ultra cool layout, but unfortunately I won’t be coming back until there’s new management.
The lady that checks you I in was extra nice. Made a pot of coffee special for me (dunkindougnuts). I will be back. Like Schwarzenegger
Great course
Great course with great staff ready to welcome you! Definitely recommend.
Greens in great shape
I have played this course probably 4or 5 times since moving to Springfield and the greens were in the best shape I have see them in. a little slow due to the drizzle we had. but they rolled true and my buddy we played it for the first time loved the course ...
Pebblebrook
I went on a weekday so the great thing is that it wasn’t busy BUT that might have been because the grounds are in horrible shape along with the facilities and the carts
A lot of potential… poorly cared for
Pebblebrook has the potential to be a very nice course with beautiful scenic views. Unfortunately, the fairways and greens are poorly manicured- some holes looked like the fairways hadn’t seen attention in weeks and the sand traps were completely unplayable- zero attention all season. The scenic routes between holes were, at times treacherous, made additionally challenging with the aged yet unkept golf carts. On a positive, the staff was friendly and food options at the turn were decent. Overall decent course and with better grounds keeping, could be a very nice course.
Pebblebrook
Getting better the greens are much improved. Still a lot of work needed bunkers are still nothing but weeds they have actual sand in one bunker on hole one. The carts are old and tired. I play here because it is super convenient as far as location but they are highly overpriced for the condition of the course and the fact that there are no extras ( no gps on carts, no beer cart, no sand in bunkers, etc.) need to improve the course or sell it to someone that can or lower your green fees to the status of the course
a lot of potential in this course
Fairways need work...didn't encounter anybody on a mower during the round... the greens were in much better shape than the last time i played out here. I've always enjoyed this course . The layout...is interesting, leads to some interesting and creative shots you have to make to score well. I understand they may be having trouble finding course maintenance help. It's the times we're in folks. Always have a fun round out here...are the fairways pristine? no, the tee boxes? no. The bunkers? no, but you're not supposed to be in there anyway.... For a little over 30 bucks you and your buds can have a great day out in a beautiful part of the country... I'll be back.
Be careful to drive and ride cart
The carts condition is so bad. The leather is torn, front window is gone and the breaker is not working properly.
Peeble brook
Ill never go back its a pathetic course with premium prices F- grade in my book
Over Priced and Under Kept
First observation was the condition of the carts. We looked at 4 different ones. All had large holes in the seats. Secondly, the tee boxes were so unkept that you couldn’t see the markers on multiple holes. Sand traps were completely filled with weeds. There was no loose sand anymore. The course has no fairways. It’s a field. My backyard has better grass. This was the worst kept course I have ever played, and greens fees with a cart were $40 each. The course isn’t worth $20.
