Blackstone Golf Course

Have played this course for many years. The condition of the course is poor ar best. The grill is only open till 2 pm which I believe is ridiculous

This course is about 45 minutes from Destin and had great availability being away from the coast. We played it midday and the course is a lot more challenging than it first looked. Great value for the money.

My wife and I enjoyed the course. Pace of play was very good and excellent staff. The front 9 had its challenges, but enjoyable. We'll be back!!

I have always loved this course layout. Most of greens were in great shape. Some of the fairways are work in progress. Some don’t have much grass. Friendly manager let me out early. Friendly staff. I know they are working hard. I would still recommend this course.

I’m an avid golfer within the surrounding Emerald Coast area and hadn’t played at Blackstone in a while but previously enjoyed the course layout and elevation change.

This holiday weekend I booked tee times and was very disappointed in course condition, especially the fairways where there were tons of washout areas of nothing but sand and very little useable/playable lies. Not sure what’s going on, but it looks like another local course is going downhill just like Bluewater Bay.

Awesome layout

The greens that didn’t have a bunch of disease were in awesome condition, but some had large portions of the green as dirt

Probably the worst condition fairways I’ve ever seen on an open active course as we could barely navigate with the golf cart over the rough terrain in the middle of the fairways in some locations

The course had a great layout but wasn’t kept up with. Greens were extremely long, fairways were like hitting out of the rough and balls were lost in grew side rough. Alot of rain in recent days may have had something to do with it but the staff was very nice and cordial.

Overall the greens were in pretty good condition. However, the majority of the fairways were the worst I’ve ever encountered.

I have played this course for years and loved it. I know the course has been hammered with rain but I was shocked at the conditions yesterday. The tee boxes were always just OK and the fairways were in pretty good shape. But the current conditions were the worse I've seen in a long time. The greens used to be the best in the pan handle but yesterday was like putting from a fairway., uncut, shaggy and incredibly slow. It would have been nice to be given en a heads up before paying full price. I really hope things pull thru for you, you have a lot of problems in your hands and will lose lots of folks coming back. I really hate to write this review but I'm sure I'm not alone. Good luck..I'll try again in 6 months.

As always the staff was super friendly and helpful. They informed us right away that the course had been aerated and sanded. They also gave a discount because of the maintenance work. Still the greens were fast and putted true. I am looking forward to the improvements planned for hole #5 and a couple others that need some fairway work. I will be back.

This is the second time I’ve played this course, both times have been excellent, interesting course design, definitely worth it!

We just recently moved to the area. We've played many other courses... many ranked and rated better but Blackstone was far better. WIll be my new home course living in Crestview.

I used to play this course several times a year. However, it has been a few years since I have played there. I was very disappointed in the overall deterioration of the course. Probably won’t be back.
