About
The player-friendly Blackstone Golf Course boasts a reputation of being an excellent course for families. The gently undulating landscape is approachable to beginners while still providing a fair amount of challenge. The rolling terrain requires accuracy but most holes allow for short irons if you're willing to risk hitting your ball into the treetops. There is a stream that meanders through the golf course, coming into play on a number of holes. It also crosses through Blackstone's driving range. Strategically placed bunkers are also scattered throughout. The greens are in excellent condition, providing great putting surfaces. Blackstone Golf Course has garnered a local following because of its playability, which is helped by three sets of tees, and extremely reasonable rates. It's an excellent location for a casual round.

Disappointed
The greens and fringes were in great shape. Everywhere else was terrible.
There was water on the course, but no cups.I guess bring your own.
Hit it strait here, or you’re in the pines.
Tough course!
Really pretty layout
Fun course but shots need to be accurate or you'll pay the price. Greens were beautiful but a little slow which is expected when trying to keep the greens from drying out in this heat. Fairways were good some a little bare again due to heat but will be fine once cooler weather returns. overall all really fun challenging course with some interesting elevation changes. Staff are always first class.
Great greens; true to roll/speed
Fairways being worked but the greens are immaculate. I highly recommend playing this course. Very nice track!
Fabulous challenging course
Second time playing here. Course is beautiful & enjoy playing it. Friendly helpful staff. The wildlife is entertaining to watch as you are playing. Would recommend giving Blackstone a try if you have not already, worth it!
Very sad
Great course on all previous visits … evidently due to watering issues, they lost the fairways and tee boxes. Greens were not bad … but I’m not sure the fairways can be recovered … used to be a great course.
Hot day at Blackstone
Course very well maintained considering the heat wave . The greens were absolutely beautiful and true. My partner and I had a great round—shot under par! Highly recommend Blackstone!!!
Shocked!
We have played here many times over the years, but we were shocked at how unplayable the tee boxes and fairways were. To give them credit, staff was courteous and professional and greens were good, but the lost their ability to water the other areas and have TOTALLY lost them. Very sad. I hope they can get the course back … really a good one at one time.
Needs irrigation
This course needs a lot of work to be good. You could start by using irrigation. The Bermuda fairways were terrible with most of the grass dead or dying for lack of water.
The layout could be fine if you would just maintain what you have. At least the greens were playable.
Greens
The course has challenging elevations and the fairways are a little rough but I’ve never seen their greens in such good condition.
Blackstone
Challenging, Greens in very good to excellent. Fairways a little dry, but you get plenty of extra yardage with the roll. Reminded me of very hilly courses I’ve played up north.
Greens were in great shape. Course was fair with hazards clearly identified on the tee. Fairways were a little rough. Overall nice track. Four stars overall because of fairways. Would definitely play again.
Coarse fairways
Blackstone used to be a very very beautiful cause now the fairways are in very bad shape. No grass hitting off dirt
