Blackstone Golf Course

Course in decent shape. Fairly tight fairways. Greens were rolling pretty good and were in good shape.

The course is in pretty good shape but the tee boxes could use some work and there is some areas that have some washed out out spots. The greens are good.

golf course was in good condition but has no marshals. this resulted in a very slow pace of play. also there was a sixsome playing which should never be allowed. we stopped playing after 17 holes due to time. took 4.5 hours to play 17 holes.

Good course. Tight Fairways. Driver better be on point or you’ll lose some balls out there. Greens rolled true. And, best of all, the pace of play was great. Plays similar to the Falcon course at Eglin with the hills.

Good condition and a nice layout!! Always on my list of courses when coming to the Pan-Handle!!

I did not know there was this terrain in Florida. It was enjoyable.

A friend and I played seven rounds in 3.5 days. Greens are magnificent. Fairways are somewhat thin , probably because of the warm / hotter weather hasn't arrived yet. Two to four fairways have some bare spots that could use sod. If course had higher grass in the rough, it wouldn't be quite so tough because the ball would have a better chance of not rolling into the woods - even if you just miss the fairways. Hopefully, fairways will have fuller grass with warm weather. Sand traps were full of sand and raked daily, as far as I could see. Staff (Walker, Jamie, Gabriel, and Kelly) were very helpful and friendly. Fourth time I've spent 3-4 days playing Blackstone over the past 5 years. Hope to be back.

Not sure how this course gets anything beyond 3 1/2 stars. It was ok but…..

Greens are tough to read. Some fairways are tight.

Always amazing place to play love going ever time nice place nice people

First off, solo. It was COLD, with 15-20 mph breeze.

Tees and fairways need a lot of work. Much erosion, cart tracks, wear and tear. Very thin grass everywhere except greens! Greens were not bad at all, dense, consistent, fast (10 ish?)

Last played 3 years ago, layout still quirky, cart paths rough, same general level of disrepair. It does look like a lot of traps have new sand, still very soft.

IF they ever re-grassed the place, might be a decent track and you could overlook the 2 holes that go straight up a hill, and the 3(?) narrow holes with almost no grass where you are gonna roll off the “fairway” no matter what!

Should be lift clean place everywhere, rough shape in a lot of areas, greens make it playable

Enjoyable round of golf. This was our second round of the week and didn’t have the issues of groups cutting in like the first round. Would play again for sure.

Golf was very enjoyable. Course was in good shape for the time of season. Only real complaint was the fact that two groups jumped in on number 1 that backed up our tee time 20 min. Pretty sure they were members that didn’t have tee times. Also had a foursome and a twosome come in on nimber 10 that backed everything up. No Ranger.
