Blackstone Golf Course
About
The player-friendly Blackstone Golf Course boasts a reputation of being an excellent course for families. The gently undulating landscape is approachable to beginners while still providing a fair amount of challenge. The rolling terrain requires accuracy but most holes allow for short irons if you're willing to risk hitting your ball into the treetops. There is a stream that meanders through the golf course, coming into play on a number of holes. It also crosses through Blackstone's driving range. Strategically placed bunkers are also scattered throughout. The greens are in excellent condition, providing great putting surfaces. Blackstone Golf Course has garnered a local following because of its playability, which is helped by three sets of tees, and extremely reasonable rates. It's an excellent location for a casual round.

One of the best
One of the best and toughest course around. Got to love the wildlife and amazing views. Also love going here to play surer nice people are amazing.
Not Your Typical Florida Course
Front nine is a little tight, back opens up a bit. Some very challenging holes with carry over waste areas. #9 is fun, watch your distance off the tee - not to mention trouble if you stray to much offline. I especially liked the back nine. Some visually beautiful holes with sloping fairways. Greens rolled fast and true.
I played (single) on a Tuesday just after 12 and it was wide open. Only negative was my cart died on me - but I was on 9 so swapping it out was no biggie.
Your game will be challenged
Great course layout, greens are in great condition. The course requires course management!
Beautiful Course but could use some work
Fairways were good, greens were in excellent condition. Rough was pretty rough as well as the tee boxes. Back nine was really slow with nobody to push those in front of us to pick up the pace.
Great course with many elevation changes!!!
One of more interesting and challenging course around the area. Must play!!!
Good course for the value
First time playing and overall felt it was good for the price. They were working on the greens and the first 4 holes did not have the flags upright. Hard to aim when you’re not sure where the cup is located. Other than that, the rest of the course is fun. Nice and hilly, different from the rest of the courses in Destin. Overall a good value and worth checking out!
Always a treat
Played after rain the day before so the greens and most fairways were soft. Greens were in great condition minus the speed. First three holes are always demanding with narrow fairways, but then it opens up some, with the back nine totally different than the front. Love the terrain, creeks, etc. So not like the near gulf courses, at twice the cost. Journey the 25 minutes north, well worth it!
Great Value
I play regularly here. Courses in the Florida Panhandle can be way overpriced and crowded. Not here. Plus, a friendly staff and nice practice area.
Blackstone 11/4/21
A little out of the way of the panhandle gulf front courses. Yet, well worth the drive to play a nice course for a reasonable GolfNow rate versus courses on Hwy 98. We play gulf front courses as well. Blackstone a nice change of pace and not crowed. Probably our tenth+ time play Blackstone.
Excellent greens
Greens in excellent condition. Course has some challenging holes that make this course well worth the value.
Challenging course layout
Challenging course layout made more challenging because of cart path only restrictions due to overseeding . Greens in great condition, fairways good, but tee boxes were only fair. We played in under 4 hours even with cart path only restrictions, so pace of play was excellent.
