About
The player-friendly Blackstone Golf Course boasts a reputation of being an excellent course for families. The gently undulating landscape is approachable to beginners while still providing a fair amount of challenge. The rolling terrain requires accuracy but most holes allow for short irons if you're willing to risk hitting your ball into the treetops. There is a stream that meanders through the golf course, coming into play on a number of holes. It also crosses through Blackstone's driving range. Strategically placed bunkers are also scattered throughout. The greens are in excellent condition, providing great putting surfaces. Blackstone Golf Course has garnered a local following because of its playability, which is helped by three sets of tees, and extremely reasonable rates. It's an excellent location for a casual round.

Very good condition
We came from Panama City Beach. We have played several different courses within an hour to 1.5 hours away. This course was in as good a shape as any we have played. The only issue we had was the over seeding requiring cart path only. It made for a really tough time especially on the back side. Not sure why it makes a difference to not drive on them right away, but it is what it is. That being said, we booked through Golfnow and there wasn't anything I saw to advise you of the situation; however the Blackstone web page has info about it. All in all it was a good day.
Ok
The Blackstone golf course is tight, but playable. Course in reasonably good condition but hillyness causes many bare lies and patchy fairways, especially by the cart path.
Condition of course generally okay, but local rules should allow preferred lies ( free drop within a club length between the tree lines)
little best ball tournament
Four old farts just enjoying a day of golf. We try to get out once a week for a little best ball round of golf. Blackstone is an excellent course for our style of golf.
Favorite course in the panhandle
This is only the second time I’ve played at Blackstone. But it lived up to the hype that I remembered when I put it the first time two years ago. The layout is perfect with dog leg right severe dog leg rights uphill blind shots a true challenging course. Would highly recommend to anybody who loves the game of golf and that was a good challenge
Great layout
Very hilly for Florida , fairways a little crispy greens were great compared to other courses in area. Played from back tees Lots of long carries. Highest point in Florida 80 feet above sea level.
Gorgeous Greens
This was a gorgeous sunny Fall day for golf. These greens are absolutely the best in the area. I highly recommend Blackstone GC in Mossy Head, Florida.
Nice golf course
This golf course is nice, well maintained and practice greens and driving range are nice as well.
This course is currently overrated.
Course is in bad shape. Tee boxes are awful, holes and grass is missing in big sections. Fairways are a mess with a lot grass clippings in clumps and crabgrass everywhere. Cart parths can be challenging to drive as they are rough upon entering on or off. Greens are incredibly slow but in good condition. For the price and if you are an infrequent bad golfer this place is for you.
Really really nice course
Great people and place .. Definitely one of my favorite courses.. Thank you for all you provide, it’s not easy to do in today’s world. You guys do a great job with what you got!
Mostly ok
Fairways and greens play mostly in reasonable and good condition, tee boxes need work, many rough spots and bare spots away from fairways some in fairways and around greens. .

Friendly Staff, Poor course conditions
Course is very challenging and unforgiving. Staff was nice, but the fairways and tee boxes were pretty bad. Greens were ok.
