About
The player-friendly Blackstone Golf Course boasts a reputation of being an excellent course for families. The gently undulating landscape is approachable to beginners while still providing a fair amount of challenge. The rolling terrain requires accuracy but most holes allow for short irons if you're willing to risk hitting your ball into the treetops. There is a stream that meanders through the golf course, coming into play on a number of holes. It also crosses through Blackstone's driving range. Strategically placed bunkers are also scattered throughout. The greens are in excellent condition, providing great putting surfaces. Blackstone Golf Course has garnered a local following because of its playability, which is helped by three sets of tees, and extremely reasonable rates. It's an excellent location for a casual round.

Course is in great shape!
It's amazing that this course is always in great shape it's a rare find just North of I-10 off of 285 exit in Walton County. It's worth the drive from anywhere. A must play !
Awesome Pride of work evident
What a value. Pace of play was fast. Course was meticulously maintained as were the grounds and club house. Staff was bright, personable and very attentive. If I lived here I’d join. Bar was great. Spicy Bloody Marys were outstanding.
Management Team and entire staff can be proud of a first rate golf experience.
Oh yeah, the course is full of risk and reward shots. We loved it!
Great break from the norm
Most Florida courses are generally flat with slight changes in elevation. This course is a great break from your typical Florida course with hills and valleys throughout to deal with. Course is generally always in good shape and has an attentive staff. Highly recommend.
Blackstone
A very nice course I will definitely play again. Lots of opportunities to lose balls but very fair layout. Wish they offered more GolfNow discounts. Staff very nice and very willing to work with you.
Great coarse
It's a very challenging coarse from tee to green. Fairways are narrow but plush. Greens are in excellent condition and mid speed. Sand traps are what sand should be. A great coarse you will enjoy. Especially with GN coupon.
Tough golf course
Very nice, ver hilly, greens excellent, a few long forced carries which made this course tough, personally I don’t think slope was accurate
Great Course, Staff, and Playing Conditions
Just played Blackstone Golf Course. earlier this afternoon and the course was in great shape! Greens were in super condition and fairways were very playable. The rough (when I missed the fairway) was challenging but not excessively deep. The woods were not too overgrown and thick when I totally missed the fairways and somehow miraculously managed to not lose a ball all day.
The pace of play was good with our 3-some finishing the full round within 3 to 3-1/2 hours.
The Course Manager and Staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful.
I recommend Blackstone G.C. highly if you want to get away and enjoy a pleasant and challenging round of golf.
great course for the money
Course is in great shape. They need to make sure the sand pitchers on the carts have sand in them.
Not a beach course--great diversion
This is nothing like most Florida panhandle beach courses. Holes cut out of the Florida wilderness with a lot of elevation changes. Challenging from the black tees. Fairways, and especially the greens, were in great shape! Pace of play was great and the way the course is laid out hardly ever see another foursome. Will try to make it back soon!
Excellent Condition
This is a good course. Very hilly for Florida which makes it visually appealing. Not really for beginners because of the challenge, but it gives you a fair chance. Fairways are open, but terrain is the challenge.
Today (11/20) it was in immaculate condition.
Cold and windy
Wish we had picked a warmer day but Blackstone was a very good rolling hills course. The course has been over seeded with rye grass and greens were great.
Challenging course always
Very hilly course but I always enjoy playing there. They are working on the fairways because the grass was left longer than usual but it’s always enjoyable to play
reduced sun
with daylight saving time this sunday it will be extremely hard to be able to use any promos after 1200PM as it will get dark by 430PM which means we will be unable to complete round. Can the 1200 restriction be moved back an hour or two.
Course
Beautifully laid out course with plenty of challenging holes. Hilly course very nicely maintained
