Blackstone Golf Course

The course is in great shape, my favorite course in the area.

Challenging course in good shape. We got a smokin deal through GolhNow and were very pleased with the hole experience.

Course has potential. Good layout with some easy holes and some very tough holes. Greens were soft and slow for my liking. Got rained out after 16 holes. Sad that we didn't get to play No. 18. It looked hard.

Good shots don’t always get it done. Rolling hills and gully hazard make things interesting. Plays long for average striker. To score well you need to hit landing areas, those uphill holes are truly challenging. Enjoyed it

You won’t find better customer service like that given at the Blackstone golf course. The greens and fairways are in great shape—BEST in the area—a 10 as in OUTSTANDING!!!

The course was in pretty good shape for the lack of rain over the last several weeks. One of the toughest parts of this course are the forced carries over several ravines. Obviously it depends on which tees you are using and your skill level. They seemed to be more troublesome for my wife who has a steady up the middle drive, but not the distance to make the next shot over. Whether to lay up or not comes into play more than one might think. I do like this course and hope to play again soon.

Considering the time of the year and little rain recently the course was in very good shape. Greens were good and lots of undulation. The maintenance staff had done a good job with this course. Loved the elevation changes on most holes. Got to use every club in my bag.

The course was playable but on the dry side. Tee boxes and greens in decent shape. The course could use more drinking water on the course.

Scenic hills and valleys make this course a great place to spend a day in the country, and an interesting golf experience. Some areas show bare ground or dead grass, but the course is in overall excellent condition despite recent extreme heat and lack of rain. It is equal to more-expensive courses in Northwest Florida.

I noticed many divots that have not been filled with sand by golfers, despite sand being provided for this purpose on each golf cart.

If we spot someone leaving unrepaired divots, would it be rude to throw pinecones at them?

Course is in great shape, fairways and greens in very good condition. Some of the fairways a little tight and definitely some rolling greens. Actually has multiple holes with elevation changes. Hills in NW Fla ! Who knew. ...Fun challenging course worth the drive from Ft Walton

The green are in fantastic shape and no one pushes you. Lots of hills and hazards but the great thing no water hazards. Hole #11 you can see 20 mile of nothing but woods. No home along this course. My wife and myself love this course

Played the course at a hot deal rate and for the price I paid I think I owed the course money. Greens were in amazing condition. Way better than the first two times I played. They have do a great job at bringing some of the greens back to life. I will be playing again.

Today I used GolfNow to schedule my round of golf met two gentlemen close to my age seniors we had a great time. They've been to the course before I've been many times it's in pretty good condition. Always enjoy playing here staff is great!

We showed up to be told we could only play the back 9 due to maintenance on the front side. There was no indication of this when we made the booking and having driven 1hr30min we didn't have much choice but to play the course. Crab grass is beginning to clutter several fairways which is unusual for Blackstone. The temp was 95° with heat advisory in effect for the heat index around 110°. The water cooler was empty at the 13th green on each side. The course doesn't offer a beverage cart. I called the pro shop from the 14th tee to inform them the cooler was empty. The person stated the maintenance crew normally checks those and it would be refilled later that day or the next day. Assuming the person misunderstood me, I repeated that both coolers were empty and he stated he heard me and again repeated it would be refilled later that day or the following day. I found this unacceptable due to the extreme heat; what course only checks coolers every other day?! I've always had a good experience at Blackstone but today was disappointing and a poor experience for several reasons.

Had a great time with my friend and son in laws. Course was plenty challenging and we had a lot of fun.
