Short notice
Played the North and East Courses. Not a big fan of the multiple flags on the North Course, the course was in great shape though. The rough is s little high so keep the shots straight and you will be ok. The east course was a little chewed up in spots, but I like the layout. I will be back.
Not so friendly staff
Staff not to friendly .. Older fellows on course. Grumpy and demeans people
Hi jfrausto,
We are very sorry to hear that the staff was not nice. Please reach out to me directly to discuss further. maryteetimes@yahoo.com

Challenging but fair course
I always enjoy a round here. Course is always in great shape
Hi u000007719594,
We are so glad you enjoy playing with us! We can not wait to have you back.

The narrower fairways provided challange
The course was beautifully groomed and definitely a challenge. The rough was thick and successfully designed to encourage straight shots. Enough par 4's and 5's to keep me on my toes. Definitely intend to play the course again to meet the total challenge by playing 18.
Hi Dee5911589,
We are so glad you loved the course and will be back! Thank you for the great review. We love that the course challenged you.
We can not wait wait to have you back

Never Disapoints
Always a pleasure to play BA...
The only critique I have were the greens. They were in decent shape just need to be rolled. A little fuzzy in some places. the bunkers continue to need some TLC, but playable. I love the long rough. If you spray the ball your penalized.
I will continue to make the drive from the city.
Value is outstanding... Go play Broken Arrow you won't be disappointed.
Hi uDTFM1906DT,
Thank you for playing with us again! We are so glad you love the course and find it outstanding. Thank you for the feedback.

Unusual layout; nice condition
We played the North/South combination of this 3- nines tract, and I have to say the North course is a bit weird. Each green is enormous - in fact, there are two pins on each green - a red and blue. The red pin is always shorter and more accessible and thus plays better to the higher handicap golfer. Getting an accurate distance is a bit tricky, though. Fairway distance markers have both red and blue yardage, but the score card does not show the hole length to red. Not quite sure what my nRange GPS app was giving us. So all-in-all, the two pin novelty, to me, was a bit disconcerting. In fact, in one case where I pulled the approach shot a bit, my ball was actually on the green nearer the blue pin, but and I was separated from our red pin by some rough. There are a couple of scenic holes on the North course, though, especially the long par 5 (#4). Anyway, perhaps you just have to get used to it. Everything else was great - fairways and greens in nice shape, roughs were cut to a moderate length. Made good time on the front 9, but then bogged down on the back - resulting in a typical 4+ hour round. Overall, I like this course (although prefer the East/South combo) and with a GolfNow hot deal it's a great bargain. Would be nice if they let carts out in the parking lot for loading and unloading, though.
Hi u000007133084,
Thank you for the detailed review! We are so glad you liked the course and found the East/South rotation your favorite.
We hope to see you again!
Thank you,

Great day of Golf...... But ?
The courses were in good condition. We played North & South. Heavy grass clippings on some of the fairways cost us a few balls which could have been avoided by cutting the grass a little more frequently. Overall the courses were in good condition. The only drawback was the ground superintendent had the fairways being watered during play which we had to call to have shut off so we could play and we had a very slow foursome in front of us which we had to call the proshop 2X to get a ranger out to move the play along. We were 4 deep when the ranger finally came and the play never eased up. They should have made the group move ahead a hole to resume normal play. The rangers need some work to keep it flowing or people will go elsewhere. There is no reason walkers should catch up. Over 5 hours for 18 is to long.
Hi Poppz,
We are so glad you played a round with us over the weekend. We are happy to hear you thought the course was in good condition. We are very sorry about the pace of play that day. Please reach out to me directly to discuss further. maryteetimes@yahoo.com

North Course
Loved the dual flags on the North course, what fun concept. Wish we'd brought our A games, fun course in real good shape. Will return here again!
Hi tbeckhm73,
Thank you for the great review! We love to hear that you enjoyed the north course so much. Thank you for the kind words about our conditions.
We can not wait to have you back!

Best hidden gem in Chicagoland
I found this golf course 3 summers ago. 3 nines and each a little different. It's always been in great shape. It's challenging - check out the rating and slope - but fair. The greens fees are among the fairest in the whole Chicagoland area!
Hi atrilla,
We are so glad you love the course and have played with us for 3 summers! We are glad you find the course fair but challenging.
We can not wait to have you back!

Double pins…why???
We played the North and the East courses. A very strange feature of this course is the double pins on each green. This made gps ineffective, not to mention a nuisance to figure yardages. The design was enjoyable. Conditions were satisfactory. The pace of play was slow. Course workers wielding weed-eaters were an annoyance. They seemed to be oblivious that we were playing thru the distraction. As much as I enjoyed the East course, I didn't enjoy the North.
A nice layout with good design.
A nice design. Moderately difficult. The rough was brutal, very lush, hard to advance the ball from some lies. The greens were a little slow but consistent. I enjoyed the East course.
Hi dukhux18,
Thank you for the review! We are so glad you loved the east course and thought it was a nice design.
We hope to see you back soon!

Tall roughs!!
Keep on the fairways boys & girls! The greens r good, fairways r nice, but our biggest complaint was the roughs!!! The grounds keerpers need to lower there blades , & pick up the grass clippings! If you hit just off the fairway left or right chances are you might loose your ball!!! I'm a pretty good golfer & I lost 4 balls in 10 holes!!! And all 4 of those balls were totally findable , now I know the rough is called rough for a reason , but every time you hit just off the fairway, &. Spend way too much time looking for your ball that's totally ridiculous !!! It wasn't only me that had this problem, it was all people in front of us too!!! And because everybody was looking for their ball it totally killed the pace of play!!! It took my wife & I 4 plus hours to do 10 holes, & after 10 we bailed out packed up our clubs and went home!! So if go there defently go thru golf now or make sure u get a cheep rate, cause is not worth $60!!!!! Just sayin
Hi u000007427005,
We are very sorry that you lost so many balls. We appreciate your feedback about the rough.
We hope you will come back and give us another chance. Please email directly so we can discuss further. maryteetimes@yahoo.com

Tight fairways
Overall not a bad course. Friendly staff.
Pros: reasonably priced. Conveniently located off 355. Grounds were in good condition. Good rolling/hilly course. Back 9 (east) was a fast pace.
Cons: tight fairways. Front 9 (south) from holes 3-9 were extremely slow. Many 4-somes ahead of us. Impossible to play through them all. No beverage cart in operation.
Hi u219001364,
We are glad to hear that you think our staff is friendly. We love that you think our conditions are good.
We hope to see you back really soon.

great community course
Youth friendly, good rotation with 27 holes. 5 rating out of 10 for challenging. Some fairways are tight, hit um straight.
Hi u000002353858,
Thank you for the review! We are so glad you like the course and though it has good rotations.
We hope to see you back soon!

Not very friendly and SLOW!
Played here yesterday and found pro shop staff to be very rude. When my cart broke down on 2nd hole I called pro shop. Jared couldn't seem more annoyed. Not once did he apologize for the inconvenience. I walked remainder of hole 2, all of 3, and most of 4. Took over 30 mins to get a new cart and the person who brought the cart out never apologized either. When I returned my cart key for $1 deposit I was never asked about my round, thanked for choosing Broken Arrow, or invited back.
Staff could use some basic customer service training.
Hi severino071135,
We are very sorry to hear that you did not have a great round with us. We are very sorry about the cart and lack of customer service.

One of my regulars
I've been playing Broken Arrow for years. The difficulty is moderate to difficult based on where you play from. Not a lot of trees, but water comes into play often.
It is a good course for serious golfers and once-a-year hackers as well.
Personally I don't think the experience warrants the full price rates, but discounts are readily available. I jump on the opportunity to play if I can get a solid deal.
Hi rayythompson97,
We are so glad you like the course and have been playing with us for years. We love our loyal golfers.
We hope to see you back soon! Remember we offer our best rates online.

Slow play
Slow play, multiple rangers out on the cousre but didn't do anything about slow play. Had 4 groups on a hole at one point. Course wasn't marked well for yardage. Gps taken out of carts. Wouldn't go back.
Hi u000007451320,
We are very sorry to hear that the pace of play was slow and the ranger did not speed things up. We would hope you can reach out to me directly to discuss further. maryteetimes@yahoo.com

Horrible condition
Range was horrible. Rough was over 8" long and staff was not friendly. Will never return to this goat patch.
This is not a 1 star course nor a goat patch, be serious. This course is normally in very good condition and is a very good value play. I play golf twice a week and will have no problem going to Broken Arrow. I think you are forgetting about the constant torrential rain the Chicago suburbs received the entire month of June and into July. Pretty much every course I have played this summer had difficult rough depending on timing. They just couldn't get out and cut.
Hi u548605196,
We are very sorry that you did not find our range in good condition. We hope you will reach out to me directly to discuss further and fix the situation. We would love to have you back. maryteetimes@yahoo.com

Beautiul course
Definitely love the set up of this course.
Have to be able to control your ball flight to succeed here. But hey when youre down wind and can let it rip, its SO FUN
I mean theres nothing better than taking on a 560 yard par 5 and hitting driver-5 iron to get on in two
Defintely will be back here to play
Hi Roman719,
We are so glad to hear you enjoyed the whole round with us! We love that your will be back. We can not wait
We hope to see you back soon!

Great course and value
Play here and enjoy the whole round. Challenging holes and rough is "rough". You better drive the fairways or else be scrambling for par.
Hi Fsaucillo,

We hope to see you back soon!
