Bridlewood Golf Club
About
Designed by D.A. Weibring, Bridlewood Golf Course features a spectacular combination of links-style and traditional features as it snakes its way through the flat farmlands and terrain that seem to be specifically created for golf.
The front nine isn’t as rugged as the back, and its first few holes feel more residential than the rest of the course. Two holes stand out. No. 8 is all carry over water at 195 yards, followed by the monster -- a par 4 that demands one heck of a tee shot to avoid the water left and out-of-bounds right in finding the skinny fairway. Next comes a long, long approach that will have you begging for a bogey.

Pace of play
They allowed high school students to go off in front of paying customers. Their pace of play was extremely slow and they did not allow people to play thru.
If the course is going to have so many students playing, they should not offer any tee times.
nice course
the greens where in nice shape and the was in pretty good shape for this time of year
Just a good track to play
Course was in good shape considering all the rain and snow we have gotten lately. 18th green was not in the best shape but that's about all.
Great course, somewhat frustrating greens
It's been a couple years since I played at Bridlewood, but I remember that experience being very good and I've wanted to go back. Found a deal on GolfNow for $39 for a 7:45 am tee time on a Sunday...obviously a no-brainer! Not much interaction with the staff as it was a prepaid round, so check-in and roll out. Range is nothing special, so hit a few balls and off to the 1st tee. Course was in great shape in terms of the tee box, fairways, rough, and the look of the greens--more about the greens in a minute. The sand traps are VERY thin, so they are like hitting off hardpan with a thin layer of "sand". The greens rolled well and were pretty quick, but any iron shot into the green literally bounced waist high and rolled through the green. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING! Even at much lesser courses, the greens will hold my iron shots--but nothing hit and stopped out here. I'm not sure if this is the norm, but be forewarned of this and plan your approach shot accordingly.
Beautiful, especially in February
Hats off to the course management corp for taking pristine care of the course. Well manicured throughout the whole track. Could it be better? Probably but then the green fee will be well over the 100$ mark. I can't wait to play again in the Spring/Summer when EVERYTHING will be lush green.
Amazing course..
Good weather and good peoples~~ Very good price..everthing good~~
Good round
Course was dormant but still in good shape. Did not play well, but that was my fault. Got. a great deal thru golfnow, $17 for a normal +$50 tee time!
You make the call
no ball/club washers on the cart or even a few tee boxes, no bev cart came around, no GPS, yard markers is like "where's Waldo?". Glad I only paid $35 because as much as I've heard about this course the lack of these basic amenities floored me. Maybe it's their winter setup. But it was aggravating not being able to clean your ball or club. I ended up soaking a towel in one of their ponds. But it is a fun course, greens for late Jan were blazing fast & good shape. Bunkers need work, some were fluffy some were hard pan. Nice practice facilities. I'll be back...but only if I can find it at $35 or less again...thanks GOLFNOW Deal Caddy!
Nice Course
Started the round with the Buffalo chicken sliders which were really good. The service at the course is the best in the whole metro. The course is very well maintained. I have wanted to play here for years and it did not disappoint!
Greens roll true but very fast.
The course was in great shape for this time of year. The marshal was a little quick to judge. We were a group of five behind a twosome that weren't very good and on their tails most of the day but some holes they would lurch ahead and he would jump us for being behind. we still finished in four hours and fifteen minutes. still I would rather play a course where the marshal took the job seriously.
Outstanding Course
We played on an overcast day, misty and cold but was not disappointed with this course. Greens were fast and true, fairways were great for this time of year, staff was just outstanding. I would recommend this course to anyone, you can find good deals that you will make this one of your favorites.
Great condition!
The course is in great shape, as usual! Greens are lightning fast and can be very deceiving. Always a great track, just a bit pricey for this time of the year
Would play it again
Beautiful, great condition, well maintained. Fast greens. Challenging layout, but playable. Thoroughly enjoyed our round and will play again when back in Dallas.
What a Bad Experience
Driving range area is in bad shape, got us off on time paired with one other. There was a foursome in front of us, but hardly golfers. They allowed them to play out of three bags, so they constantly had to go get clubs. We waited on them all day, and at one point we could see five open holes in front of them. We talked about this with the marshal, and he had little to no interest, even though he seemed to follow them the entire back side. They offered to let us play through on 17, a par three. I don't mind being slowed down on a weekend round, but this was not necessary, and the lack of interest or help from the marshal made it a bad experience.
great course
green fast as usual. course is in great shape for lack of rain this year.
great day for golf
Fairways were excellent as were the greens. Fast and fair. Play here anytime.
Great course but sadly no marshals to enforce pace of play
This course was in great shape. It's sad that there is no pace of play management by marshals. 5+ hour round is totally unacceptable, especially for the price to play. I would not recommend this to anyone to play unless your the first ones off on the course. Management should enforce pace of play!!!!!!!!!!!.
Great Layout
Great Price on Golfnow of 24.00 is a fantastic value for this course. Course in great shape, staff was friendly and the marshals kept the pace of play up. Only negative, greens were in great shape but, were very firm and would not hold any shots.
Beautiful Day
Nice fall day, course was packed for a Tuesday. Good greens, nothing sticked regardless of the angle you can in on. Some holes were squishy in the middle, as they were really watered the night before. Thirsty Tuesdays, $2 light beers. Nice touch. Cart girl ran into a tree...
great golf experience
Course conditions were excellent from tee to green. Look forward to returning for another round.
