About
Designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, the links-style Golf Club at Fossil Creek was nominated by Golf Digest as one of the best new public golf courses in Texas when it opened in 1987, and has lived up to that advance billing since then. The course is scenic, with massive trees, limestone bluffs, bubbling creeks, and numerous lakes that bring water into play on 15 of 18 holes. The course boasts pretty rolling fairways and 18 testing holes all intertwined throughout streams created by Fossil Creek. It's surrounded by rocky-ledged creeks and crystal lakes.

Absolutely perfect
Perfect course conditions, perfect weather (after storm blew through), perfect pace of play. Greens were their usual very smooth and fast even after punch cutting. Tees and fairways in ideal condition. One of the best public courses in all DFW and got a very good deal on it as well. Really can’t get any better of a round for late June or anytime of the year. Excellent!!

Awesome day at great course in perfect shape
Love this course and the course and weather conditions were ideal. Blazing fast greens tgat still stink at getting right speed. They are so much smoother and faster than any other course I play in DFW tgat it takes some getting used to. They also put some holes in the mist sadistic places but that part of it. Just awesome conditions and wasn’t pathetically slow, just normal slow.

Better bring your game
Course was in excellent condition.
Greens are fast and true, in spite of all the rain in DFW, it wasn't a round of mudball.
Glad we had a person familiar with the course, because you're not sure where you want to go or how.

Pace of Play
The course is incredible but pace of play was brutal. 45 minutes through the first 1.5 holes. Tried to bounce over to the back but story was the same. 25-30 minutes to play a hole is not doable.

Way overpriced. Greens in bad condition. Should be $50-$60 on the weekends at the most

365 days since I last played!
My neighbor and I reserved a tee time using the GolfNow app. We were paired up with two walk-ins—great guys. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Coach and I will definitely be back!”

Nice but pricey...
Quite a fun track...helps to bring your handicap down prices have gone up dramatically for some reason so that's a bummer. I'm from out of town so needed to rent clubs. Sticker shock at $75. (Last year's TaylorMade). Tried calling to get some info..pro shop kid hung up 3 times in a row. Overall though fun course tee boxes and greens id give 3 and 3.5 stars respectively.

Pretty nice course, a few minor issues
Back nine is much nicer than front. Range had virtually no grass, I would have rather hit off the mats. No carts were available until 10 min prior to teeing off. Overall the course is in good condition, but I won't put this course in my regular rotation, many nicer courses closer to my area. There are definitely some great holes, overall it was a good experience.

This place is pure. An awesome Palmer design with some challenging and unique holes! I’d go back anytime, if you can find a hot deal here take it. 100% worth it!
