About
Designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, the links-style Golf Club at Fossil Creek was nominated by Golf Digest as one of the best new public golf courses in Texas when it opened in 1987, and has lived up to that advance billing since then. The course is scenic, with massive trees, limestone bluffs, bubbling creeks, and numerous lakes that bring water into play on 15 of 18 holes. The course boasts pretty rolling fairways and 18 testing holes all intertwined throughout streams created by Fossil Creek. It's surrounded by rocky-ledged creeks and crystal lakes.

Nice but pricey...
Quite a fun track...helps to bring your handicap down prices have gone up dramatically for some reason so that's a bummer. I'm from out of town so needed to rent clubs. Sticker shock at $75. (Last year's TaylorMade). Tried calling to get some info..pro shop kid hung up 3 times in a row. Overall though fun course tee boxes and greens id give 3 and 3.5 stars respectively.

Pretty nice course, a few minor issues
Back nine is much nicer than front. Range had virtually no grass, I would have rather hit off the mats. No carts were available until 10 min prior to teeing off. Overall the course is in good condition, but I won't put this course in my regular rotation, many nicer courses closer to my area. There are definitely some great holes, overall it was a good experience.

Nice course with some great holes. More target golf vs big ball golf. Enjoyed playing, would play again!

Pure
This place is pure. An awesome Palmer design with some challenging and unique holes! I’d go back anytime, if you can find a hot deal here take it. 100% worth it!

Dreadful Pace
Four hours and fifteen minutes to finish 15 holes. Saw the drink cart several times throughout the round however I did not see a Marshall. Course is in really good shape just can’t deal with a 5 hour round.

Very nice
I guess the only complaint I could find was the range ball not included, a course of this caliber normally includes range balls. Others than that it’s top notch

FossilCreek is in great shape. The staff there is very friendly and accommodating and the amenities at the facility are awesome.

A little slow but great place
So the course is probably one of the 2-3 best relative to all other semi private/public courses within 20 miles of where I live and that fact combined with a great deal price in late afternoon means slow pace of play. Just the trade off you have to expect. Greens in really good shape for late winter/early spring. Fairways and tees just coming around but still best of any like courses around Ft. Worth. Really top notch.
