The Golf Club At Fossil Creek

Great course. Was not busy pace was great. Very challenging. Love to play this course.

Foosil Creek is a good course overall. Played several rounds there and a fun golf course. Course has always been in good condition for the most part. I would recommend it.

Excellent condition for this time of year. Really enjoyed the bunkers sand was soft and very playable.

For the price it was worth the trip. Challenging and course was in good condition.

Booked a tee time for 8:45 but got pushed back to 9:30 due to a frost delay...when the temperature never dropped below 40* overnight...?? Interesting to say the least...that aside, was able to tee off 45 minutes later than expected and was paired up with 2 other players. Pace was excellent all day since only a twosome teed off before my group. Course was in great shape, greens rolled well but had some chewed up spots -- perhaps from the twosome in front of us, but could also have been from the prior day's play... Beverage cart was seen 3-4 times, a huge plus considering it was a non-holiday Monday and the snack bar between 5 and 6 was open too, so kudos for having this up and running in the morning! Course is quickly becoming one of my favs due to the value and consistent conditions.

Due to early freeze conditions, my 1:23 pm start time did not occur until 2:00pm. The golf course was packed; thus we had very slow play. We got in 14 holes before darkness ended our play. I can't fault the course for the weather. However, I would like a twilight comp round for at least 9-holes.

Greens were very fast, fairways were in good shape.
On course cart beverages are quite pricey.
Overall a moderate value.

Greens could be better but it is winter. Ni had fun

This is one of my favorite courses in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area. It is always in great condition and the staff is always courteous.

The course was in pretty good shape. I do not really have any complaints other than the two guys in the pro shop spent the entire time chatting with each other the entire time. I told them my reservation time and last name maybe 4 times before they got me checked in on the tee sheet. They seemed irritated to have me there, and I felt they were ready for me to leave.

The weather was not good.....cold, and breezy (not a good combo for a Florida guy).....The course is great, overseeded...so looks real good for the time of year....Greens are quick and true!...good layout. You can score well on this course if you are hitting it good, if not.....could play a little tough..worth the price.

Poor managed caused delays; could not finish. Even after 4 1/2 hrs!
Course OVERATED.

I've had chances to play Fossil Creek a couple times in the past 25 years...what a treat. This time my 12 year old grandson was my partner and we had a ball. It was cool and cloudy, but we had our cart cover and heater and had a great day, the fivesome in front of us let us thru on the second hole and we had the course all to ourselves. There are so many great golf shots on this course. The greens are spectacular and we had yet another great day at Fossil Creek.

Considering the weather and season the course is in good shape. I would definitely recommend to a friend!

Word to the wise....if you cannot get the ball in the air or you are not a good putter you may be in for a long and costly day. Hands down this course will not disappoint you. Just wish the carts were more forgiving..........you'll see.

Fossil is always in good condition. Greens are normally fast but roll true.

I play this course at least twice a week and, as always, it's in great condition! Someone forgot to tell the fairways and greens that it's nearly December! My ONLY complaint about this golf course is it's tendency to back up. 6, 7, and 8 are where the backups begin and can make for a long round. On course management could be so much better in relation to pace of play. Other than that, it's one of my favorites!

Pace of play was great and the value for the money was the best of our long weekend golf trip.
