About
The Club at Frisco Farms (formerly known as Plantation Golf Club) was created for the average golfer -- it's a user-friendly course where spectacular play is not required for a decent score. Playing only 6,400 yards from the tips and under 6,000 from the middle tees, the golf course isn't long, and it includes many par 4s that are nearly driveable. Erratic, careless play is punished, however, with out-of-bounds lining the fairways and water coming into play on a few holes. Those short par 4s in particular are all guarded by water. Two of The Club at Frisco Farms par-3 holes -- the 148-yard no. 7 and the 188-yard no. 17 -- each require players to carry water. Pace of play here is better than average because of the player-friendly layout.

Cancel - disappointed
I had got cancel notice e-mail from you just few hours prior to fee off time .
You never mention anything about this cancellation.
Still I don't know why this was happened.
It did make my schedule screwed up that day.
Plantation Golf Club
Course was ok. Some interesting layouts. Driving range is terrible. Hitting off a thin rug placed on top of concrete is no fun.
The course was in good shape given the recent rain earlier in the week. Staff is always friendly and professional.
A gem in frisco
I have played this course numerous times and if I had the handicap I’d call it my “home course” Always looks great, has a good variety of intermediate and challenging shots and the staff goes above and beyond. Will always be my first choice in North Texas
Extremely slow pace of play
The pace of play was extremely slow had to wait on the box at early single hole, it took 5 hours to complete a round today
Just Aerated Greens
They aerated the greens on Monday - no disclaimer on GolfNow; no discounted greens fees. Honestly would have played elsewhere had we known. Showed up for a 7:15 tee time at 6:45 and waited with about 14 other guys until 7 when they finally got us checked in.
The course was nice, I think the aerated greens just put a bad taste in our mouth from the beginning, especially since they looked like they were in stellar shape before they were punched. The starter was friendly and listened to our complaints about no warning of the punched greens, and apologized even knowing the guy in the pro shop threw him under the bus. The cart lady was also nice and came around often. Very fast pace of play.
Nice course
They were gracious enough to tell us the course had been aerated a couple days before, but we decided to go ahead and play. The greens were, as you can imagine not normal because of the amount of sand, but I understand from time to time, this must be done to continue to have a great green, so I'm not going to complain about that. My only complaint, and it's probably just because of the lack of players out there, but it was sweltering hot and there was no on course cart service. However, the lady at the clubhouse was very pleasant.
Great Time
I think this course was one of the most challenging courses I have played while out of town. Great greens and great staff.
Tired course
I had not played this course for many years and now I remember why. Built around a housing development this course feels claustrophobic. Lots of quirky holes with blind shots, few yardage markers and no gps.
Greens are firm and bunkers are fine but rest of course is rough around the edges. If you must play try to get a hot deal and do not pay full price.
We will play here again
Very nice layout , great pace of play , my friends and I like to play fast . We did today . One we will be playing again soon .
Fun little thinky course
More than just a few holes to notice the risk reward shat. Playing safe golf is key to making par or better here. A very fun course with water situated for shot shaping feel players along with bailout areas for the straight shooter.
I like it. Might come back next weekend
