Pace of Play. No carts

Unless you’re getting out early, I’d stay away. Don’t have enough carts for the tee times and you’ll have to wait 20-30 min after you’re registered tee time. Pretty annoying

Greens are horrible

The greens are horrible because instead of fixing them they just dumped a ton of sand on them! Course would be so good if the greens were fixed the way thirty are supposed to be

Poor Course Conditioning

Acknowledging that it’s early April, I’d still say that course conditions were well below average. I’ll admit that I’m spoiled, as most of the golf I play is at courses with 4 or more stars; however, there was rough patches on almost all the fairways, weeds were sprouting all over the place, the water holes looked like swamps, and the greens were so dry and firm that many good shots just didn’t hold the green. Half way through the round, I joked that the entire course should be deemed ground under repair as all our lies were in the fairway but on hardpan! That said, other than the massive gap between the 9th and 10th holes, the course had a nice routing. I can see a map for a quality course that just isn’t there right now. I hope that things improve once they rebuild their clubhouse that caught fire last November.

Course was great

Played my lowest game so far as a bad golfer. We had a lot of fun until we ran into an extremely slow pair that we couldn’t seem to get around. Club House burned down back last Thanksgiving. They need some more urgency to get that built back.

Hidden gen

Honestly was a little concerned after reading a few of the reviews. Their clubhouse burned down over thanksgiving but we showed up, and they were making it happen. All the staff were super friendly and eager to help. Things were running super smooth. We got better service here than most courses I’ve played around DFW. The course itself was in pretty decent shape for it being this time of year. I will definitely be coming back here

Respect Time

I had a foursome tee time at 9:32 am and because a tee time that was at 9:24 am was late. The starter made everyone wait for that group at 9:24am running late. That 9:24 am group didn’t actually tee off until 9:40am which led my group to tee off at 9:55am. We played a 5 hour plus round… come on now. That starter has NO respect for peoples time and tee times. $50 greens fee for the service and course conditions was ridiculous.

Crap show to say the least. I won’t be golfing here again

Mud

The course should have never been open, it was unplayable. We left at the turn. The guy in the makeshift clubhouse was very rude.

Poor customer service

I made a mistake and arrived 1 hr early for my tee time. Course was wide open and attendant made me wait in my truck 1 hr until tee time. Very poor customer experience.

Eh

I wasn’t expecting much for $50 on a Saturday but I should have just spent the extra $10-$15 to play any other Dallas area course. Not their fault that the clubhouse burned down so can’t blame them there but no drink cart on a Saturday is less than ideal and no real food or anything available other than some small snacks. Guy checking us in was a little standoffish, not necessarily rude but didn’t seem like he was happy to be there by any means.

Now for the course. Even for Texas winter golf it was below par. Fairways were hard. Tee boxes with very little grass. Just nothing to really rave about. Greens were the one area that was decent. We’re rock hard like the fairways but rolled pretty true. Most likely won’t come back unless something drastic were to change.

Great bang for your buck

The greens were in great shape. The fairways were okay but for what I paid all of it was fantastic!
