Great course
Good price green fee
Rough shape
Once you get through hole 4 the course improves but holes 1-3 are in very rough shape. I wouldn’t call them greens on those specific holes.
Fungus
First two holes were invaded by a fungus on the greens made him look black and hard something I've never seen before in a golf course the third hole was aerated but healing and the rest of the course the greens were in fairly good shape had fun would play it again though.
Lack of Directional signs
Poor directions provided by club, lots of golfers getting lost on where to go for next hole, need more signage or marking! Greens need a little TLC, everything else is solid, signage would speed up play a bit and green just need some love! Other than that great course for the price
Beautiful course
This is a beautiful course. Parts of it are very challenging--don't get complacent on those par 3s! It was not crowded at all, the markers are clearly visible, the greens and fairways are well kept. I like this one.
Needs work
Several greens need work and fairways need better mowing. Clumps of clippings indicated fairway grass was way too long.
Don’t do it
There was a reason this was the only course that had openings on Saturday morning. Course is poorly maintained layout is terrible and there is no Course Marshal to keep pace of play. If the choice is here or not playing just don’t play and go hit a bucket of balls at the driving range
I love it
It's a great course. If you're a beginner, go here. If you shoot 85 and up, go here. It's a good course for a group that usually has to play best ball to maintain of play. It's a great course, challenging even without the water and bunkers for all of you 10 handicaps. It's a fun place to play golf with your buddies.
Crack o’ dawn golf
In the dog days of August, I was first one on the course this morning and it was cool and beautiful. Course has interesting layout. It’s above average for a muni and is a bit of a sleeper with nearby Firewheel’s 3 course offering. Like the Duck! I’ll be back.
Bad pace and no groups make
I played single between 2 foursomes, inéditas to make a group of 5 I was waiting 10 min every hole
They need to make those kind of adjustments or avoid played single
