Duck Creek Golf Course

This course is worth playing. It has improved greatly so if it’s been a while since you’ve played it played it, give it another try. It is a challenging course. Shots not in the fairway will penalize you. The bunkers are in great shape. There are no ball washers which would be nice. And some trees along the course could be trimmed. With a golf now hot deal this is becoming a course that I will play more often.

Good layout. Greens in decent shape but everything including greens is getting dry and too firm. Some of the front of the greens are chewed up. Bunkers are in good shape. No on course beverage service today.

This was the worst golf experience I’ve had. 10:40 tee time, did not tee off til 11:15 because they ran out of golf carts. The round took just under five hours. Course conditions were bad. Will never play again.

Nice golf course, enjoyable because it is not to dificult and all de golfers are gentle people and the staff treat you like a king. Thank you golfers and staff, I realy enjoy my day..

Hot deal on GolfNow for $16 so I thought i can get a practice round in. I should have spent the time at the range instead. The course was in horrible conditions. There were weeds everywhere. Several times I lost my ball on the “fairway” because of the over grown grass. The greens were not much better. Such a frustrating round.

The staff was friendly and no one was on the course. Too bad they don’t care about the condition of the course because the layout is nice. I wouldn’t play here again even if it was free.

Needs yardage markers on par 3’s and some ball washers

++ Played fast, the course was almost empty

+ Greens are generally good

- No water on fairways makes them bare and hard expect within 25 yards of greens

- - Many bare spots in play R or L of fairways

- Teeboxes are rutted with divots and uneven lies

- - Mens toilets have feces on seats, womens toilets are unclean.

I liked the course except we got rained out and I couldn't reach golfnow.com. That part disappointed me.

Duck Creek is a great layout. Water and OB make most holes challenging, but so many holes are fun to play despite this. Current ownership has made changes that make the course more playable and friendlier to all golfers -- fewer traps, shorter holes, etc.

Pace of play is excellent. There is nobody in the course most of the time.

But this a great course visibly going downhill fast.

During the severe drought over the last 2 months, this course has only watered around the greens maybe twice a week and water some parts of the fairways in spots maybe once a week at most. As a result, the fairways that were very playable 2 months ago, are almost 80%-90% brown and bare making them playable only to the most experienced and more expert golfers. Several more trees have fallen over or split open. The course is losing a lot of them.

There are other problems resulting from neglecting basic maintenance needs. Tee boxes are poorly maintained. The carts are poorly maintained and are well past their expected usable lifetime. The cart trails are uneven and bumpy from cracks and neglected repairs. Both restrooms are filthy.

The course was basically empty which I suspected on a holiday in the heat. Holes are interesting an greens are pretty decent. Tees need some work, but not too bad. Staff checked on drinking water and was in good supply.

$12 hot deal - $15 after fees - made this round worth it.

Rangefinder stolen right off my bag in the few minutes it took to check in. I know this isn't the greatest course in the area, but dang ... Pretty sad. Area and course must really be going downhill.

Pace of play also terrible, staff started some folks on back 9 so it caused huge backlog.

Going out late in the day when it is hot means the course is pretty uncrowded. I like to play fast and even thought I caught up to a twosome and a foursome, it was easy to skip ahead and complete 18 holes in just over 2 hours.

The course is in decent shape, greens for the most part are excellent, although it looks like some idiot took divots on a couple of greens.

Fairways while not lush are good.

The layout is fair with some challenging tee shots needed.
