Oak Creek Golf Club

Booked the round on TeeOff for a still. Because it had rained a day or so before, the course was cart path only. Nevertheless, there were very few people on the course so pace of play was very manageable. The course was a bit wet so the greens were a little in predictable. The layout was challenging but fair. Really enjoyed the round even though the conditions weren’t ideal.

Apparently at this course no one knows how to fix a divot on the green

Had a great time! Extremely friendly staff that helped me with every question I had for a first timer to their facility. We will definitely be back!

For the amount of money they charge for winter rates they should at least provide basic snack/food options. I get cart path only when grounds are saturated but no starter and no Marshall and no cart person? When you have a limited time to play before dark or closing they should keep rate of play up. Took almost 5 hours to play 18. People weren't following cart path only and not even a hotdog when we finally get back to the clubhouse area. DO BETTER!

Had a two hour frost delay- expected the course to be in great conditions with such a delay. But fairways were completely dead all the grass was dry and flaking. Lots of unfilled divots and bare spots. Bunkers have small rocks in them ?!?? Actually damaged one of my wedges due to this. Club house staff was very nice and helpful. But for the cost would not play again

Played on Wedenesday after a big rain. The course is wet but no standing water and not mushy. Course has interesting layout with some challending holes., The greens are in excellent condiion for this time of year, running smooth and true, except they are covered with leaves. The fairways are in good shape. Bunkers are wet packed but still playable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although the group in front was very slow in play, it was still a great experience at Oak Creek.

Such a nice course, played as a single and joined a few other men, enjoyed the round a lot. Hit a lot of fairways and greens and made a lot of putts, whats not to like. The greens were just awesome to play on, quick with some break, so you better read the line from both sides. I look forward to playing here again.

I play Oak Creek often and it was in the best shape I’ve seen in years! The greens are super fast (which I love.)

Nothing to say other than if you haven’t played here then give it a try and add it to your repertoire of courses. This was my second time and I’ll be back for more.

Don’t trust me but be your own judge of what you think of this course.

PS: I’m not that good at describing golf courses that’s why I refrain from attempting.to. All 4’s for me bottom line.

I got lost my way to the club. My transcore chip (security gate pass for my place) attached on the left corner of windshield somehow worked at the gates in the oak creek community. I was driving here and there and running late. When I called the club house, the staff explained the direction and calmed me down. Thanks for the kindness!! The course was more enjoyable due to the excellent staff.
