Great layout
The course was in good condition for the time of year. Pro shop left some desirability, almost no product available. At the turn we went to th bar to get drinks and food, we were completely ignored by the bartender/wait staff. Overall it is a great course and great golfing experience. The staff needs to learn that it is a business and offer better customer service.
Excellent course
Course was in excellent condition. Quiet electric carts on undulating fairways. Lunch at the turn was very good and quick.
Understand before you go!
I have played this course several times over the last few years. The conditions of the course have dropped under new ownership. The layout is challenging and you can't mess that up, but the course conditions can ruin a good day of golf. They need to spend some time on conditions.
I would recommended to play, but understand the current conditions!
Richland golf
Always fun playing this course...I make the hour trip from Va because it's a nice layout... Condition was average for this time of year but better than most other places I've golfed...Will be back
Great day for golf
enjoyed the round. Pace of play was great and for winter conditions the course was in great shape.
Great company
Twosome we paired up with was awesome...made the day that much better. Gorgeous day and a nice course. Plan on going again to see the scenery when the trees and grass are green.
Great for winter golf
For the middle of February, course was in really good shape. Always a pleasure to play here. Has turned into our favorite course to play. Staff always friendly, course always in great shape. Close to home & senior prices you can beat anywhere!!!! Always my first choice to play !!!
Fun Layout
Greens in excellent shape for mid winter. Course layout is fun and pace of play was excellent. Really a fun course. You can definitely score, but still offers a satisfying challenge. Both 9 and 18 are great finishing holes.
Course was in good shape for February, the greens were frozen which was an added challenge. Still a very nice course and will be back in the near future.
Course was in good shape overall, the greens were frozen the entire round which made holding the greens challenging. I would definitely play this course again and will do so in the spring when it warms back up.
I'm heading back
This was my first time playing there. It was recommended by someone I was paired with the week before. Nice layout and everything, (including the bunkers), was in very good condition. Extremely friendly staff. No blind shots which is somewhat unusual for that area and surrounding courses. Greens had a lot of undulation and were challenging. I had more than a couple three putts. The pace of play was pretty fast, but it was mid-morning on a Monday, so it was as expected.
There is a nice sports bar in the clubhouse, although I didn't eat there, but others were.
I am definitely heading back soon. Good value for the money and definitely worth the drive (45 minutes from where I live).
Good Condition
The course has pretty scenery, overall good layout, greens roll good. houses do not come into play.
Was Hollow Creek
This course used to be called Hollow Creek. It is in transition now with new ownership. While the pro shop is virtually non existent, the course is in great shape! The greens were fantastic! The fairways were immaculate. It is still just as nice to play now as it was before. Rumor has it the owner is going to be putting a lot of money into developing new practice facility and other amenities. Can't wait!
Enjoy the view
I enjoyed this course. The staff was friendly. The course was in good shape. They do a good job of maintaining the grounds. There are some challenging holes for your delight. I'm sure you will like this course when you play. I recommend it.
