Excellent Course
Sure enjoyed this course. Fun, challenging, and in great shape. The staff is off the charts fantastic. They were so helpful - it was my first time there. Sure looking forward to coming back.

Friendly staff
This course is in great shape…considering its heating up. Still a few bumps on greens from aeration but puttable. Fairways are tight and fast. Course is a lot of fun.
Staff is awesome. Great bunch of people who care about their place.
BBQ sandwich and potato salad for the win!!

Super fun layout, and fast afternoon rounds
You can’t beat a 2 hour 18 hole round. The greens left some to be desired, but the layout and views are great. I would do it again! Just make sure you cart has enough gas if you go in the afternoon as they forget to add gas.

Prairie lakes
I hadn’t played the course in a while. It was a fun time. The fairways were good. The greens were a little rough due to sanding etc, but we’re playable. I definitely recommend the course to everyone no matter you your talent level.

Not a fun day.
Walked in to check in and the guys at the pro shop were having a very misogynistic/creepy conversation about the "little young blonde THING with a tiny skirt" from their recent tournament. Even went as far to say that their "is no point in having tournaments if you don't have some short skirts to look at." Just really really gross stuff. They didn't care that I heard it or stop talking about it when I was right in front of them. Not all men like to objectify women and these guys just assumed I wouldn't care.
As for the course, it played very slow which I'm usually okay with. However, the other group behind me nearly beamed me in the head and got defensive/aggressive when I asked them to wait for me to get off the green before they hit into me.
Lots of bald spots and concrete greens if you're into that though.
Never going to come back.

Every time I come, I feel that there are players who have no concept riding a cart into a par 3 hole. Basically, you can't enter a par 3 hole anywhere in the country by cart, so how can you do that? And even though screaming loudly and playing music is a very selfish act, shouldn't you do it like you just have to enjoy yourself without caring about the people around you?

Red & White are Tough
Played the red & white & you will play these tracks differently the 2nd time than the 1st. Lots & lots of water but fair. Course was in good shape considering it gets a lot of play. I recommend this one!!

Beautiful Course
Beautiful course. Played mid day Saturday. Only negatives were slow play and the greens had just been punched so they were really bumpy. Otherwise a gorgeous course that’s well kept. Would definitely go back!

Terrible greens. No alert on Golfnow!!!
Have played here for years. Always had a good pleasant outing.
Sunday the course was in very poor state. From the practice greens, to the fairways to the greens, patchy ,bumpy, sandy and aerated greens. Again no alert on Golfnow!

AERRATED GREENS
Been playing here for over 40 years & love this course. But on Sunday May 7, 2023 the greens had been recently aerrated & were totally un playable. My only complaint about this is there was no warning when checking in and I believe there should be a discount given when there in that condition. Could nor putt at all. No way for the ball to roll true. I will be back but was very disappointed having to pay full price.

Needs a ranger
Prairie Lakes is always a fun track, I just wish there were courses rangers that would direct pace or assist on better golf etiquette. As a single, I was behind two older gent (although I'm 68) that were quite slow and hitting multiple balls. I know they saw me waiting on the tee box behind them yet they never asked me to join them or for me to play thru...I just had to wait for an opportune moment to ask them to play thru, and they reluctantly said "sure, I guess so". It got worse when I later caught up to a very slow 5-some (really ,a 5-some on a public course?). I know saw me but were trying to pretend that they didn't, so I just played 2 sometimes 3 balls per hole. I got some good practice, but it would have been a more pleasurable day if common manners and basic golf etiquette were exercised.

The course is not what it used to be - needs a little TLC
Last time I played here was probably about ten years ago. I remember it being better than your average public Muni. This time around , the condition of the course was pretty rough. The tee boxes and fairways were not only hard as a rock, but had dead spots all over. The greens were okay, but there were a handful with little weeds or dead spots. I found a Hot Now deal for this round so can’t be too upset when I only paid like $18, but would not pay regular price for this track.
