Tangle Ridge Golf Club

These guys have pace of play figured out and appreciate their customers. . No nonsense like starting people on number 10 to just squeeze in a few more green fees.

I wrote one review but I needed to. I forgot something it’s awesome to go to a place with a nice golf course. A nice staff and you’re you know say you’re the first second third you know we get early Tee Times for a reason because we play fast and we don’t need to be there six hours Thank y’all so much for not starting golfers on number 10 while they eat their breakfast croissants and learn the game and then when all your true golfers, come around the corner and have to wait three hours to play nine holes thank y’all so much for knowing how to run a golf course !!

OK, I’ve been playing tangle Ridge since it open day one I don’t play there often. Now I play White Bluff a lot with my buddy and we also go across the lake to the one in Mansfield. I’m not even gonna mention the name again like I said we have played Tangleridge for many many years. You truly feel like you’re in the Hill country. Sometimes you wonder if there’s even a level spot on the golf course there is but very few. I thought the greens were in tremendous shape, except 18 had a few. I don’t know if it was bad or if it was the lawnmower that cut it too short and burned it but outside of 18 everything was very nice

The greens it’s one thing I couldn’t figure them out. I don’t know if it was the way they’re cut towards the water but anyway they look slow, but they’re slick and I don’t know if there’s a new management here or whatever but the gentleman checking us in such a nice courteous man. It wasn’t that way several months ago. I’ll leave it at that and of course I’ve gone there to eat breakfast and not play golf the sausages, the old folk sausage in my God it’s so good the biscuits and gravy anyway.

Only issue we had we teed off at. I think we had a 730 teatime. They put a group of kids. There were high school kids in front of us and they were playing a scramble together after the third hole. They finally let us play through and cause my buddy and I we can play a round of golf most places under three hours, but again if you’re in the area, this is a tremendous golf course you feel like you’re in a Hill country and it’s just so nice very peaceful thanks

Always one of my favorites in the area. Some very interesting holes.

The course is great shape and ample time between tee times. There was no one teeing off of the back nine when we got to 10 like another corse that is close by.

Very pleased.

Greens were great except 18 that was about 90%. Fairways were great. Pace of play was great. We’ll play there again soon.

Great course for the value, awesome elevation change and all fairways and greens in great shape. Will be back all the time.

Best course i have ever played! Lots of elevations great tee boxes great fairways and great although a bit slow greens. Definitely loved this course and wanna go back and play again

We had a good time playing this course nice setup and the greens were in great shape considering it’s the middle of July will definitely play here again

I think it’s a challenge to play this course. The bunkers were filled with water from the rain we recently had. The cart girl was a life saver as we saw her numerous times. I had a great time playing with 3 strangers that were very nice.
