Whiskey Creek Golf Club

$120+ for beat up range mats, the WORST pace of play in my entire life, and greens that really didn’t compare in terms of speed and condition to any course I’ve ever played for this price. If I am paying $120 for a course, I expect a level of quality that is above what whiskey creek provides. The layout is fantastic and the course is a great challenge. However, I can find better layouts and conditions for a fairer price. I believe this course is charging $20 too much for what the course actually is. While it is early in the season, I understand that conditions can progress. However, my biggest gripe with this course was the pace of play. I genuinely think the course doesn’t care about pace of play. Lastly, whoever manages this course, you’re a knuckle dragging orangutan.

5 hour round is sad, this course normally keeps everyone on pace but today no one seemed to care

Between our 3some we've played many of the best in the MD in the past 12 months including Musket Ridge, PB Dye, MD National, Bulle Rock, Greystone, Renditions, Worthington Manor, Mountain View, Lighthouse Sound. Al great course and places to play. This was our favorite. We'll be back soon.

Mid morning weekend afternoon and they are on point with tee times running sharp and on pace. Marshall is clearly a golfer and managing pace that started off slow then caught up to finish in 4:10.

Course is coming around nicely with greens a little bumpy but with some rain and maintenance should be great (as usual) by mid-April.

With a great layout and great management, the high price is worth it.

A little pricey but very worth it...top notch course and staff.

Whiskey Creek is a great golf track, They have come a long way over the years. The course was in excellent condition considering they had recently aerated the greens. In the past, care of the bunkers was the only thing keeping Whiskey Creek from being a great public golf course. Last year they worked hard on the bunkers, and it showed. This year because of COVID they took away all the rakes and have done less bunker maintenance...so the bunkers are back to being less than good. Most courses have restored their rakes...recommend Whiskey Creek return theirs. The biggest disappointment this year was that they have without notice dropped their "Aged to Perfection Club"...a senior loyalty promotion. BRING IT BACK!

Even after greens are popped, and early season, this course never disappoints.

One of the best courses in the DMV. Course looks great coming out of the Winter months. Can’t wait to return.

The course had some repairs of some Tee Boxes but the course is so fun. Challenging and wide open, had to hit every club in the bag which is always fun!

Winter golf. Delayed by frost until 10:45, but then beautiful day. Course in great shape for winter, and greens were excellent. Hats off to superintendent for the great shape and manicured greens. Day was made by starter Jim - friendly, informative and eager for every golfer to enjoy themselves. Whiskey Creek is the top course, and staff, in the area.
