Prairie Lakes Golf Course - White Course

Course is nice, very challenging , water, trees, wind.
I find blue course toughest of 3 and prefer to play red and white. If I had a complaint it would be I would like opportunity to choose what I play.
I do understand that the staff has guidelines to help with traffic on course though.

The greens were great and the course was great. The Staff is great and the BBQ Rocks

I had not played this course for over 3 years. I remembered that the fairways were not great, but they are now very nice. Some of the greens have a few bad spots, typically on the edges, but the pin placements were in good spots to avoid any of the issues. I thought the greens were a bit slow, but they rolled true. The pace of play was great and we enjoyed the tract. We played the red and white nines. A bit more water comes into play than I remembered, especially on the par 3's. A bit challenging, but a very nice layout. We will be back soon.

I played the Red & White courses. These courses were in great shape. Greens were nice, good speed, soft, and very green. Fairways were maintained very well. There was a nice breeze coming off the lake to keep cool. The courses were fun to play. I enjoyed the challenging Bermuda Triangle, it took one of my balls this time! Afterwards I enjoyed a delicious brisket sandwich from the clubhouse. What made this experience over the top was the deal I got from Golf Now, $21 for 18 holes with a cart.

Course was in great shape! Because of the three nines pace is usually good ! And with attached barque restaurant you can ask for anything else

Driving range was closed and no cart for drinks. I guess I'm spoiled the golf course and greens were great.

Liked the way the course played. Difficult in a sneaky way. Wind is your worst nightmare out here

Was a windy day so made course even harder. Really enjoy the mix in shot making challenges!

Course was in overall good condition. Fairways and tee boxes were great. Greens are about two weeks out from being great. Greens were patchy in some areas, but pins were places on better spots for my round.

The course condition is good. The course is fairly maintained and tee boxes are as well. The course path is a bit confusing and we had a hard time knowing where the fairways played after the water and green placement. Then the greens are still coming up and have bad patches. They are fast but still have winter damage.

I love the layout of this golf course unfortunately the Greens had been punched and were difficult to putt on.

First time on this course; very pleased. Lots of trees off the fairways but you can always find your ball and usually have a clean shot back out. Greens are patchy; maybe still too early in season.

Course in good condition except the greens are in horrible shape.

I've played quite a number of times. For the money I think its a great deal. We paid $15 on golfnow, but even without a hot deal you can often get on for less than $20. The fairways, 1st cut and tee boxes were in great condition, comparable to Texas Star, or Iron Horse.. The difference is in the greens. Some were covered in sand, which meant the speed of your putt could vary by 50% from hole to hole. Very tough! But, there was a notification on golfnow suggesting the greens were under some repair so i guess that was to be expected. All in all, this is a regular for me because its just a dang good deal midweek.

very rude staff...tried to get me to pay 20 for 9 holes after 5 (although the greens were punched). He then said he could get me a discount of 22 for 18. I checked golf now and got 18 for 20. He was mad and put out (told me i shouldn't argue about 2 dollars!!!!!). CAZY.
then i wanted some ice for the round. Sure just 25 cents!!!!!

Tee box, fairway and green condition is so bad.
Just green fees is cheap.thats it

I don't know what has happened to the greens, but they must be the worst in the area. I have played this course many times, but this was the first this year. I will not be back....unless they have repaired or replaced the greens.

Course layout is nice and fairways seems to be well kept. But Green condition was extremely bad. Cannot put due to long and uneven grass as if you are in fairways. Unless I hear from others that they fix the green I am not planning to go back there ever.

The course is fun, plenty of water and trees to get into trouble but still open enough to not get too frustrated. This early in the season their greens were below average and I cant imagine what they will be like with the summer heat and more foot traffic. The only reason that the course difficulty rating is moderate was because I played from the whites with the couple I got paired up with and should have played from the blues.

I usually really enjoy this course and had played a number of times over the last couple of years , was very excited when golfnow added them to there available courses . I had always been very impressed with there layout and training facilities however this past round I played the green were in horrible condition and will diffently be calling ahead before scheduling in the future .
