Fred Arbanas Golf Course - Par-3

The greens are in really poor shape but they are going to be re sodding every green starting April 5th so should be really nice in a couple of months.

I have played Longview many times usually love it. Course is in horrible shape. They aerated the greens it was like putting on sand. Lots of dead sections on the greens, just not worth putting on. Course is closing next week for green renovation. Should already be closed. Waste of a green fee.

I’ve played at Fred Arbanas around 10 times over the last year or so and it really is a wonderful place. Great views of the always majestic Longview lake and some of the friendliest folks in town. Everyone I bring out here for the first time is always impressed and always comes back. I would say the only draw back is the drainage, if it’s rained in the last 36 hours or so it’s almost always muddier then you’d expect it to be. This is golf though perfect conditions never made a great player. Tee then high and let them fly.

Greens are trash sadly. Give the new sup a year to fix them. Sad to see.

It’s been awhile since we have a nice day to come out . The course still really wet but we had so much fun !

Other than leaves that hid a few balls course is in excellent shape for it being November.

This is one of the best courses in Kansas City. I loved the layout and the conditions. Having a view of the lake is a huge plus, we actually stopped to take a picture.

We had a Hot Deal (which is the only reason we played or even knew of this course) and the guy inside was a little bit upset about it. Other than him saying it was a great experience.

First time playing here! Course was in great condition, and the staff was very genuine and friendly!

Great round on a beautiful layout. Greens had been aerated and sanded a week ago, so putting was a bit of a struggle, but should be perfect in a week or so. Loved it.

Greens are unimaginably slow especially as compared to other area course who have the same summer weather challenges! Surfaces are so saturated that shots produce gaping holes which are largely repaired poorly or not at all by too many customers. Bunkers are regularly in poor condition (not raked with footprints in and out and sometimes straight through across the entire bunker). What a shame since the layout is top notch.

Course was in great shape, you can tell they make maintaining the course a priority. It’s a fun course to play that allows low scores but also has hazards that can be unforgiving. Overall a great course at a great price. Definitely recommend
