Terrible conditions
Choose another course. Fairways are patchy at best. Nobody fixes marks on greens. Not worth the money. I suggest sell the land and build houses.
Barely maintained
The whole course is in horrible condition. The greens looked good but balls didn't roll true. It looked like the course was recently hit by asteroid debris, so many holes and bumps. The fairways were in worse condition than a civil war battlefield. I would not recommend this course to anyone.
Poorly maintained.
Needs a complete makeover. Fairways are terrible.
Not Great!
Whittier Narrows would be a nice break for the group that I mnormally golf with but it just does not match up with other county /public courses. Once you're off the fairways(which were so bumpy and uneven) and primary you're in a million gopher hole, bigger holes and weeds! golf is hard enough without the crazy terrible terrain.
One cart battery ran out so we had to push it to change out before whole 9. The staff was good. that I can say.
close it down - waste of money
I have never played a course that is as bad as this one. It seems the owners, management or whoever is collecting the fees is just pocketing it instead of making the investment of some improvements or at very least just watering the course as it was mostly just dirt and dust and sick grass.. The fairways and the T boxes were as bad as I have ever seen on any golf course and they should just close this place or sell it to someone who can manage it.
Quality for the price
Nice neighborhood course to relax and play in the weekday afternoon. Need to avoid the Very thick roughs. Some dirt spots here and there, but greens are in pretty good condition although they are not firm enough.
