Alhambra Municipal Golf Course

The course used to be well maintained now I have no idea what happened to it, the greens are one of the worst greens we have ever play in. Time to find a new location to play.

I paid full price to play on this course, but the greens are one of the worst I have ever seen.

The fairways aren't very bad but the greens are horrible! Patches of grass making the ball hop all over the place. Will not play here again.

So sad to see how bad this course has gotten. Greens are worse than if they were freshly punched. This use to be a great course with beautiful greens. I would play this once a week. Haven’t been here in over a month because of this same reason and looks to be the same. And it’s crazy that in the condition it is, everyone still flocks to play here which might actually be part of the problem right now. For what they are charging you it’s absolutely not worth it. Hope something changes

This course used to be really nice and well maintained. It’s sad to see how it deteriorated this bad.

I want to start walking so I choose Alhambra to tryout. It's great shoter course to walk.

The overall condition is bad and the green is on another level. In my life, I never seen anything worse than it. It's seriously not able to putt. 2-3 different type of grass and not flat with patches of dirts and grass. The ball bounces up and down and side to side.

If you just want to walk and practice iron shot, still acceptable.

Can’t put on any of the greens anymore and the course looks like it needs a new ground crew

For $53 around there is plenty of courses nearby that are 150% better than this place unfortunately

The greens were punched a few weeks ago in April. They were way better before the aeration. If there is one thing thats gotta be good its the greens and they were bad. I love this short course but I'm not sure about playing on these greens. The rest of the course is pretty average, but has a few great bunkers with new fluffy sand. The value is there but birdies wont come by skilled puts but luck. To be clear the aeration holes weren't an issue, but it seemed that the greens were hanging on a thread between life and death. Worst greens ive seen.

I play 60-100 rounds a year for the past 3 years and played here many times, I play here to work on my short game and my scoring as it isn’t long. It’s not fancy, but usually the greens are in good shape. Not this round. In fact they were the worse greens I’ve seen in the last 3 years on any course. Recently aerated, patchy, bumpy and sandy. I’m not saying don’t ever play here, but don’t waste your money here for the next 2 months. Hopefully they fix this.

The overall condition of the corse was really good, greens were receptive for being covered in sand . Sand traps were like hardpan . Lunch for two $25 not bad

An item that I had hanging off my golf bag was stolen when I left it unattended for like than five minutes to use the restroom. There is no staff anywhere outside, not even at the cart return.

Long round, pace of play was super slow. They don’t accept cash. Greens were not great and staff could have been more helpful and friendly.

I wish they gave a heads up, tee markers are all moved up, they got lots of construction going on while playing. Not a very enjoyable round. At least offer discount rate
