Great course for the 10.00 hot deal at 1 pm they have on a daily basis. I have played here several times, nice open course that is forgiving. Fairways are not the best but they are playable and the greens are pretty decent. Would recommend for the hot deal all day long.

As my gold buddy and I attempted to play at the is course ... the conditions were horrible!! The grass on the green wasn't cut the tee box wasn't properly marked the fairway grass was higher than the rough. This is a good course but the lack of maintenance of this course was horrible! The attendant inside wasn't eager to help us nor the 3 who purchased a full price round in front of us! This is a course to stay away from

This course was not bad at 10 dollars. The fairway needs to be cut and the greens are not good. Would be a really nice course with some up keep.

Not sure why this place had bad reviews. Fairways and Greens definitely not perfect by any means. But not super busy never got held up for even a second. Course layout was good, mostly easier holes which is nice for a 90 player. Would highly recommend for the price. Played on a Saturday for $15 per player through Golfnow. Give it a try!

I wish that I had read other reviews before choosing this course to play. As noted, the greens are in atrocious shape, with many bare patches. Everyone in our foursome consistently left putts short due to the length and poor quality of the grass on the greens. The course itself is uninspiring and nothing made up for the poor conditions.

I think the course should have paid me to play there. I was 1 of 3 cars in the parking lot which should have been an indicator. The course didn't have a patch of green grass on it. There were 2 or 3 holes were the green was closed so you had to play an alternate green which looked like an abandoned lot. I will never play there again unless it's free.

The fairways need more grass and the greens were lousy all chopped up. The pro shop should say that two greens were under repair and greens were chopped up before playing

I had read the bad reviews before booking this course and thought it can't be that bad. Short story - it's bad. I would not play it again. Fairways are horrible and the greens are even worse, I'm not sure if they even have any equipment at this course. Two of greens were under repair and have temp greens. This course was probably pretty nice back in the day, but not today. It needs a lot of work, I do not recommend it.

Overall nice course to play for the online price. No beverage cart. You need to bring your own beverages.

Greens are in terrible shape and the course is not well maintained. This could be a nice course with some TLC, but right now it is in horrible shape.

This course was designed back before bombing drives was a ‘thing’. The course is very tight on the front, which forces you to think out your shots prior to playing your next. The course is not setup for muni-play (i.e. pace of play), it’s setup to be played by the rules and challenge every group member to play through. Out of bounds, and natural hazards will drive you nuts, but keeps you honest in how you actually stack up against others within your group. The course is old school country club style of play, so penalty areas all over the place; unlike other muni courses I’ve played.

I will continue to play the course to help improve my game, but they need to work on the greens, and trim up the areas, which are eyesores out there. I played earlier in 2016, and just the other day (early 2017), I can say someone has taken the responsibility of cleaning the place up because it’s night and day in terms of looks and how the course has evolved. Overall I’m taking a group out there in a few weeks to really punish them wit the tightness.

Only major comment for the staff: Cut the trees on 13 & 6 t-boxes. They’re literally having over it.

I feel like this course used to be pretty great back in the day, but it has kind of gone to waste. Greens have dead spots. Several places on the course are eye sores. I am not an overly critical golfer, but when there are so many great local courses, this one falls by the wayside. With some tender loving care, this course could easily compete with the others, but it will need some help. Only choose this course if you are looking to save money and it is the cheapest deal available. Any of the other nearby courses in Cleburne or Burleson are much more worth the money. The staff is extremely friendly and kind, which also makes it hard to write this review. But I feel I should be objective, and honest so that players are not disappointed.

i am glad to get to play this course, as for many years it was private. the course is beginning to suffer the hot summer days. most of the greens were in really good condition, several had bad spots. the layout of the course is typical old school country club. it is rated 129 from the tips, ob comes in to play, and many trees, native areas. greens are small by todays standard so short game is tested. very few bunkers but they all needed to be re worked.

This used to be a much nicer course about 10 years ago the last time I played it.I was real disappointed in the condition of the course.The greens had about 4 different kinds of grass and many had a lot of bare spots.They were bumpy and very inconsistent.The fairways also had numerous kinds of grass and spots with no grass at all.The speed of play was great because we had the course all to ourselves and once we played a few holes we knew why.There are much nicer courses close by.Want be back.
