Stonetree Golf Club

The course has been renovayed and is in excellent shape. The greens are firm but ot consistent on speed. Also the bunkers could use more sand especially on the bottoms. If these were better I would have given it 5 stars. I would still recommend this course for all levels of play. Especially with the 8 tee box levels. Something for everyone of any age.

The course, on the internet, looks beautiful! However, they’re having to replace all the green, some of the fairways, and it’s hard to follow if you’re there for the first time. With that being said, when it is finished, I believe it will be a great course to play! Until then however, I would not recommend this course to anyone.

I went on Golf Now and found Stone tree Golf Course. I made my reservation and was immediately charged. I called the course to make sure my reservation was on the tee sheet. The person I spoke to said the course was closed and I should talk to Golf Now about the charges. I called them and they called the course and told me in fact the course was open. Really? Ok but I was just told the course was closed. No they assured me it was open for play. We got to course....only the front 9 was somewhat playable. I say somewhat because the greens weren't the actual greens they were part of the fairway made into temporary greens. It was a swamp mostly. It was a joke! We spent $150.00 for 4 people to play on a cow pasture. We took guests to play not knowing the area and trusting Golf now for their help. I won't do that again!

So it’s almost like playing two different courses. The front nine has serious drainage issue and crappy greens with hollow muddy bunkers. The back nine is completely different. Faster greens which are well taken care of and nice fairways. Go figure??? I guess it’s the nice houses on the back nine.

Pace was good but golf cart ran out ofjuice at the end.

Not a bad track, but not for the money. I walked and it was $27. Not terrible, but having the first tee time you would imagine there was no wait. Not the case. Literally had 4 groups jump in front by the time I got my clubs out of the car. Apparently it’s a common thing but having to wait as a single and not being waived through was irritating.

Course wasn’t terrible but the bunkers were terrible. I couldn’t imagine that they had been raked in over a week. Greens were patchy and overall pretty bad.

All in all the course is playable but I’d steer clear if you want a good golf experience. I’ll be looking elsewhere from now on.

Greens were a little bumpy.......between winter grass and summer grass. Fairways were in great shape.

I will lay the course again.

I played like crap but can’t blame that on the course because it was great. Fairways and green were well maintained.

Frequently make the 45 minute trip to play this course. It never disappoints.

Nice layout with several fun holes Off the fairway is pretty bare right now.

Biggest problem was pace. Played course twice this month and followed a fivesome and a six some on the 2 occasions who had no interest in allowing us to play through. No marshalls present.

The course is in very good condition. The greens were excellent.

I know it’s early in the season but there was no control of the tee times. People over their time limits waiting for last people to arrive. Etc. pushed back my tee time over 25 min.

Tee boxes are in desperate need of repair, I played from the gold tees (tips) and it wasn’t taken care of.

The only issues of the entire experience were the greens being very hard and fast most pitches would not settle on them. But great open course very playable for any level of golfer
