Stonetree Golf Club

First time playing this course, pace of play was slow probably because coming off of few bad days of rainy weather, and everyone wanted to play on a really nice day after bad weather. The layout of course is nice, but certain fairways seemed neglected or golfers just need to replace divots. I landed on about three divots myself.. Really nice practice facility but bunkers/sand traps just too rocky, need more sand less rocks. Range balls can use a better wash. But overall I would recommend this course.

I along with 8 of my buddies decided to play here at Stonetree and first noticed there wasn't a Starter. We tee off on time even allowing a Solo Golfer to tee off before us, his tee time was actually after ours. About halfway we noticed a gruop of four Golfers in individual Stonetree golf carts, then noticed more, rather than pairing up. Noticed that 1 of the four was a Stonetree employee. Bottom line is on this Sunday, without a Marshall it was out of controll. At about 5:30 PM, a staff member was chasing all golfers in, there maybe an hour and half of daylight left, we just teed off on the 17th tee box.

The course conditions were not good. A lot of dirt patches on the fairway and there was virtually no sand in most bunkers. Everything was in poor condition besides the greens.

It was really slow and people just don’t care about others. Also there were a lot of beginners out there. It’s like hit or miss when you come out and play. It took 5 hours to play. No fun.

This is a nice course with a good layout. It's not the easiest course but good shots aren't punished so... hit good shots. It was in good shape and while we had a lot of rain lately wasn't a swamp. Will definitely go back

Can’t believe how well the greens rolled considering we’ve had no rain in months. New golf carts. It’s the best course in the fort hood area

I’ve played at this course quite a few times over the past couple years, and this maintenance always seems to be kept up very nicely. The course layout itself definitely isn’t the hardest it’s a good course to shoot a lower round than you normally would. The practice facilities are always very well-maintained and given the cost of a round here, it’s a no-brainer to play

I have only been playing for a month but this course is fun and nice. Very good staff I haven't tried the grill yet but soon

It was the best time ever, we all had a great round. I can’t wait to return everything was awesome, the greens , tee boxes, sand traps all was fantastic.

The course is a nice course, well laid out with green fairways and smooth greens.

The only issue that we had was that it was very hot and it took us 5 hours to play because they overbooked the course. They booked for every 10 minuites instead of the 20 minute average.

We spoke with several other golfers who were as upset with the pace as we were and they said this is the morm for this course.

There were several 4-somes that played very slow and held everyone up, when several of us called in the get the Marshall out there to speed things up, he made his presence known but did nothing to get them moving.

We won't be back.

The course was in great shape even though they had received rain the night before. Very windy day but thoroughly enjoyed it. Friendly, helpful staff and nice pace of play. I'll go back.

Fairways and greens in great shape. Much better than last time we played here. We'll be back.
