While it hasn't received as much publicity as the other Hill Country tracks since it opened around 1990, Crystal Falls Golf Club is definitely worthy of praise. Highlighted by one of the greatest par 3s in Texas and some outstanding topography, this is one of those courses you'll want to play at least once, if only for the views. In addition to the scenery, the main thing everyone talks about here is the severely sloping fairways that provide problems for those who hit the ball left-to-right. The famous par 3 in question is the 192-yard 11th, featuring a phenomenal view and a 200-yard drop to the green. Club selection is a crap-shoot at best, and the green is surrounded by mounds.

Easter Sunday Treat
Best value in central Texas! Course has challenging terrain and in great shape. Greens played a little slow due to recent rain. Had a blast playing on Easter! Looking forward to next round!

One of my Favorite place's to play
Love the course, great layout fun to play. It has a nice balance of challenge and ease of play. Fairways are a little tighter than courses around here. This add to the fun of the course allowing for different approaches to each hole.

Challenge Golf Course
We played wet and windy day. We followed 4 men who work on this course. My friend and I drive shot and not close them, but one guy wave to us(2some and ladies), so we thought that play through, but he yell us "why hit into us with such bad attitude. So sad to experience like that.. Stay away here long time..

Snack Bar
I really like playing Crystal Falls. It’s a very challenging course and usually it good shape. I have played behind very slow groups, and even a 5-some, so I think the course marshaling should be better. My only gripe…$4 for a Coors Light😳. I want to buy beer to drink during my round, but the groups that I usually play with, refuse to pay that.

One of the top ten courses I have played in March
This course has 2 spectacular par 3 with a drop of over 100 feet. All the other holes are interesting and challenging with lots of elevation changes. The greens were ok about 8 on stimp meter. Course is difficult for players that do not hit drives straight with lots of problems off the fairway on most holes. I highly recommend for lower handicap players and but the course is very difficult for higher handicap players.

Good course
Course condition was not bad. Greens were not easy depends on pin position. I enjoyed beautiful sunday afternoon together with two gentlemens. I will re-visit the course for sure!

Crystal Falls GC
It was my first time playing Crystal Falls GC. The facility was great and so were the staff. The course is in Leander, TX with rolling terrain which made it challenging but beautiful. I would certainly play there. We had a great time!

Always worth playing!
I frequent this course, typically in the morning before 9:30. It's always a fast round under 4 hours everytime.
The course itself is challenging with lots of elevation and hills. Once you get to know it, it becomes a bit easier to know where the miss is. For a mostly flat area, this gives a bit more excitement then other courses around.
Current condition is a B, of course it's February so everything is still coming back. Greens are a little choppy but will improve into the spring. Some tee boxes (I play Blue), you won't find many nice grassy spots. Expected this time of year.
Overall, for it's price, I'd play this any time. Always a great friendly staff. Love the variety of some tacos at lunch during middle of the week. Can't wait til next time.
