About
While it hasn't received as much publicity as the other Hill Country tracks since it opened around 1990, Crystal Falls Golf Club is definitely worthy of praise. Highlighted by one of the greatest par 3s in Texas and some outstanding topography, this is one of those courses you'll want to play at least once, if only for the views. In addition to the scenery, the main thing everyone talks about here is the severely sloping fairways that provide problems for those who hit the ball left-to-right. The famous par 3 in question is the 192-yard 11th, featuring a phenomenal view and a 200-yard drop to the green. Club selection is a crap-shoot at best, and the green is surrounded by mounds.

Tight, no flat greens, nice views
A little hidden gem in the Texas hill country. Bargain pricing, superb greens. Tough scoring course. No sand traps.

Could be better
Pro shop counter guy was not friendly. Just gets old at places like this. You’re already over paying from a quality of course perspective at least be friendlier. Bar has a very nice liquor selection. Brand new carts were nice but the gps in my cart was not working the whole time. The other players in my group were able to enjoy theirs though. Looked cool.
Pace of play was ridiculous.

Had a great time. Loved the cart with gps yardage to greens. Only downside was pace of play but I was a single and got held up by larger groups which is expected. Some let me play through which was great. Hope to be back soon.

Great Time!
Played on a Saturday and pace of play was great. Course in great shape with perfect weather. Love the challenging terrain (bring extra balls) and the best surprise was new golf carts!!! This was a much needed update and now completes the package! Could not have asked for a better round. Well done CF! Look forward to another round!

Fun course
Four groups of four school kids were on the 10th tee getting ready to tee off when we finished on hole nine. They were all walking, so it was slow going.
Would have been nice if the management had told us about that.
$70 is a lot to pay when you have wait that long behind all those groups.

NIce Course with even more potential
Course overall in nice shape. Greens were very good shape but tees not so much. Fairways were mainly in good shape, but slopes can take good shot and roll into the rough or penalty area.

Let an 8 some play in front of us
They let an 8some on, made no attempt to speed them up. The greens were horrible. I understand that need to re seed but it was in playable
