Lake Park Golf Course - Championship Course

There’s almost no shade available. And there’s a high risk of being hit by a golf ball from a bad golfer playing a different hole. If affordability is your only criteria, this is your place, otherwise i’d recommend going elsewhere.

After tee-up that day, rain clouds came around the end of the second hole, so I came to the clubhouse in a hurry from the third hole, but it rained too much, so I gave up and went to the clubhouse, and they said they couldn't give me a rain check. It's because I booked it on Teeup.com. I feel very bad and I don't want to go again.

Lots of recent rain and course was very green and player friendly

MY friend Jen said she needed a confidence builder this weekend. So we went to lake park in lewisville. This course is as easy and straightforward as golf gets. Every green allows a runup. Few hazards. flat-ish greens. Wide open spaces on all but 2-3 holes. You are more in danger of getting hit with an errant drive than you are losing a golf ball. Short, flat, wide open, all in front of you. The only drawback is a 5 hour round and the amount of alcohol consumed by most groups. We just enjoyed our time sitting around and had cigars and good conversation.

Wasn’t quite sure what to expect but the course was in very good condition.

I saw the marshall drove around to speed up the pace. that improved the pace much better. thanks to the management.

I enjoy playing at Lake Park. I enjoy the fact that you don’t get charged for a golf cart when you are walking. Others, Bear Creek for example, do.

I enjoyed playing yesterday. This courses in pretty good shape. It was good value for the money. It’s pretty wide open as far as openness of the fairways, so it’s relatively easy to play. It’s fairly close to home so it’s convenient to drive to for me and my neighbor. I will definitely play it again if and when it fits my schedule.

Very impressed with the condition of the greens/around the greens. Tee boxes look great, slightly overgrown. Best value in Denton County

I will be back to play this course. Excellent value for the green fee. The greens were in fantastic shape. The pace of play was good and the course is fairly wide open and does not penalize you for errant shots off the tee which personally for me makes for a more enjoyable round when you can go and score well.

I’ve paid the same for courses in much worse shape; this is a nice course, with great greens and friendly staff; they also have a cafe/bar in lobby and drink cart… only bummer is there are only porta potties on the course no bathroom buildings which is understandable but not my fav ;) They also have driving range that I think is lit up at night
