About
Lake Park Golf Club is located below the Lake Lewisville dam, and was originally known as Oak Ridge Park. Make sure you warm up before your round, because no. 1 goes 465 yards with water in play off the tee. The next notable hole is no. 8, which offers a nice risk-reward situation with two small ponds protecting the green 312 yards away. With the wind, it is definitely driveable. On Lake Park Golf Club's back nine, no. 10 gives you the option to carry the lake with a 230-yard-plus drive, or lay up and leave yourself with a long approach over the water.

Great course for your money!
I enjoy playing at Lake Park. I enjoy the fact that you don’t get charged for a golf cart when you are walking. Others, Bear Creek for example, do.

Lake Park 28
I enjoyed playing yesterday. This courses in pretty good shape. It was good value for the money. It’s pretty wide open as far as openness of the fairways, so it’s relatively easy to play. It’s fairly close to home so it’s convenient to drive to for me and my neighbor. I will definitely play it again if and when it fits my schedule.

Lake Park is in great shape

Lake Park 18
I will be back to play this course. Excellent value for the green fee. The greens were in fantastic shape. The pace of play was good and the course is fairly wide open and does not penalize you for errant shots off the tee which personally for me makes for a more enjoyable round when you can go and score well.

Great course for the money
I’ve paid the same for courses in much worse shape; this is a nice course, with great greens and friendly staff; they also have a cafe/bar in lobby and drink cart… only bummer is there are only porta potties on the course no bathroom buildings which is understandable but not my fav ;) They also have driving range that I think is lit up at night

Great track
Had a fun round here. Partly because I played my best round, the course being a little shorter definitely played into that. Requires tight shots. Wind from the lake comes into play on several holes. Overall great, would play again

Mixed Experience
Twilight rates are very reasonable, staff was intrusive but at least friendly. Multiple course marshals monitoring the course. Even going so far as to check our beverages (sparkling water) in the cup holders of our carts, once when we were away from the carts at the tee box.
Course is more or less a large undulating open field, holes are more or less exactly the same throughout. Greens were in excellent shape. Fairways were rough. Albeit, it’s early in the season. Pace was fine.
Driving range was overly crowded mid afternoon, just be aware if you’re wanting to warm up prior to your round.

Another disappointing day
I have not played this course since September. I was hoping for some badly needed improvement on this course. The tee boxes were barley had any grass. I never seen any maintenance crew on this course. I will not recommend this course until we see some major improvements.

Pace of Play Problem
It’s very irritating waiting 10-15 minutes to tee off between holes… especially when trying to get a round in when it’s cold out. Would really benefit from a marshall or spacing out tee times more understanding that a lot of beginner golfers play here and it’s harder for them to play at pace that’s desired.

Easy but fun course at a great value
Lakepark is not a difficult course. It is wide open with limited hazards. It is a great value and fun course to play.
The greens were a bit slower than I have ever seen them on this visit, but the condition of the greens and the fairways was great.
