Canyon at Meadowbrook Golf Complex, The

About
The Canyon Course is the original layout at Meadowbrook G.C., with wide-open fairways and hardly any hazards. Designed more for the average golfer, the Canyon features less water than the Creek Course, but more bunkers. Warm up before you tee off on Canyon because you'll need to be loose to reach the 585-yard first hole in regulation.

An awesome day on the course
We had a great time. It was pretty crowded due to the nice weather, but play was smooth. We played the creek side and found it quite challenging
Nice course
The course was good for being December in Lubbock. Greens were soft and had some stick to them. I would like to come back and play it in the spring or early summer when they can out some water on the fairways. Definitely be back to play again.
Good little muni course!
Get the hot deal from Golfnow for Creek or Canyon course. BARGAIN!
The rain this year has turned the golf course from a 3 to a 5 for players. You must be first off the tee or you will spend your time waiting. Will play again!
7-14-19 round on creek
No starter or Marshall. Saw the beverage cart once. Greens were in decent shape and average speed. Fairways and tee boxes were in need of attention. With the recent rains, they should have been in better condition. Pace of play was good. We were a twosome. But, we saw several groups of six playing. Would have been miserable if we had been stuck behind one of those groups.
Above Average
It's a good course for the price. I played on canyon which has a very forgiving layout with little to zero hazards on a hole.
