About
Hidden Falls Golf Club is a Leon Howard design that opened in 1974. The course cuts through a pecan grove on the front and what seems like an ocean of water on the back, creating two totally different golf experiences. Howard uncharacteristically left out water on the tight, pecan-lined front, with the wet stuff in play on only one hole. However this one pond plays a role in the best hole on the course, no. 4, which features a pond and waterfall in the landing area off the tee. No. 4 is rated as the most difficult. The more open back nine is dominated by water. No. 10 starts off with a drive of 200-yards-plus over the pond fronting the tee. A small creek comes into play on the next three holes, which lead you to the other signature hole, no. 14. Water lines the left side of the 14th, and the approach is over a small pond. If that's not enough, the final three holes all feature water in play off the tee.

Pace of play
There were 2 groups of over 8 people playing together which slowed everyone behind them down over 45 mins. With no Marshall to enforce the pace of play it made for a unfavorable pace.
Nice municipal court
Very friendly, relaxed course and shop. Course in good condition. Course not too difficult and fun to play. Last 3 holes, very difficult with lots of water requiring good placement skills. Enjoyed our day here.
Under $20 w/ a Cart!!!
GolfNow deal is unreal. Granted, the course isn't amazing, but it is a fun track that is still in drought mode.

Weather was great. Course is in good shape. Met up with another couple and had a great round of golf.
Hidden Falls in January.
Was a beautiful day so I snuck in 18. Recent rain helped the green. They were true and softer than in weeks past. Fairways were still firm, but smooth. Really enjoyed the day on this course.
Great place to get some January swings in!
The course is obviously in pre-season condition, but the staff friendliness, bargain basement green fees, and fast pace of play make it well worth your time!
Nice neighborhood course
Course conditions are always pretty good. Well maintained facilities and friendly staff, always. Good value for the money, pace is usually very good and you can usually get on with a day notice.
Great value
Overall this was an excellent experience for the money. It's a little over an hour drive for me, and well worth it as the course was in good condition and the layout was a lot of fun. No bunkers makes this a friendly course. At under $50 a player, the value was great.
First time here will play again
Drove from Liberty Hill and it was worth it. Course was in great shape. Wasn’t much difference between blue white or gold tee location. I am a novice and the course book and score card helped with club selection.
