Hidden Falls Golf Club

About
Hidden Falls Golf Club is a Leon Howard design that opened in 1974. The course cuts through a pecan grove on the front and what seems like an ocean of water on the back, creating two totally different golf experiences. Howard uncharacteristically left out water on the tight, pecan-lined front, with the wet stuff in play on only one hole. However this one pond plays a role in the best hole on the course, no. 4, which features a pond and waterfall in the landing area off the tee. No. 4 is rated as the most difficult. The more open back nine is dominated by water. No. 10 starts off with a drive of 200-yards-plus over the pond fronting the tee. A small creek comes into play on the next three holes, which lead you to the other signature hole, no. 14. Water lines the left side of the 14th, and the approach is over a small pond. If that's not enough, the final three holes all feature water in play off the tee.

Nice neighborhood course
Course conditions are always pretty good. Well maintained facilities and friendly staff, always. Good value for the money, pace is usually very good and you can usually get on with a day notice.
Great value
Overall this was an excellent experience for the money. It's a little over an hour drive for me, and well worth it as the course was in good condition and the layout was a lot of fun. No bunkers makes this a friendly course. At under $50 a player, the value was great.
First time here will play again
Drove from Liberty Hill and it was worth it. Course was in great shape. Wasn’t much difference between blue white or gold tee location. I am a novice and the course book and score card helped with club selection.
Great experience!
Thanks for a great round of golf! Beautiful course, well kept fairways and greens. So fun.
Great course - worth a try
Last second decision to go try out the course. Great value and nice people
Worth the drive!
Great course with well maintained grounds and greens. Excellent value for the money. I did play a late morning round on a Friday and I did expect to see a cart girl or two but no luck there. The course is in a residential area with the club house being the only pit stop with facilities. Would be a nice addition to have a few restrooms along the course. Otherwise a great round with challenging holes. I had fun and will be back!!
Always a great day
The staff at Hidden Falls are sharp!! Good people who know how to make golf enjoyable. I recommend this course and hope to see you all out there .
Great Course
A bit of a drive from the Austin area, but it was worth the road trip. Staff was friendly and the course was in great shape. We were first or second people out and finished in 3 hours. Would love to come back and play again some time.
Fabulous day in the hill country
The staff , condition, pace of play and all factors excellent.
11:00 tee time
This course is always a good experience. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The course was in great shape with better than normal greens. I was paired with another golfer who had also taken advantage of the hot deal. We played along at a good pace of play and had a fine afternoon. I now have another golf friend.
Golf in Marble Falls
Enjoyed it tremendously. Course has a lot of character
