Rest of the course in good shape being in the middle of summer in Texas.

Played here for the first time a month ago and the course didn’t drain well at all, the greens were thick and the tee boxes were bad. Well the tee boxes are still Bad but the rest of the course is really great for the money. the greens roll really great, the fairways get nice roll and overall it was an enjoyable experience will definitely be back to play again. The cart girl is the prettiest cart girl I’ve seen at any courses I’ve played. Lol

For the Texas heat the staff has done a really good job keeping the course in good condition. The greens have obviously been worked hard by the crew, as they started out the summer in rough shape..

Would recommend the starters put smaller groups together, as there seems to be too many singles and doubles mixed between larger groups which slows play.. Marshalls could keep pace of play moving better from holes 3-5, as groups often have 1 or 2 players searching too long for balls in the tree-line areas.

Need beverage carts running earlier than noon and water stations filled in morning during in heat of summer.

Grounds crew staff are very attentive and courteous to players when they're working the course.

For the money no one has the right to complain about this track. It's everything you should expect for 40 bucks. I only played this course because my wife went out with a girl friend and I was out of town so why not. Rough is full of weeds, fairways were ok, a few spots where they were either not draining well and were wet or super hard pan but decent over all. A majority of the greens were a mess. They did place the pins in places where I felt like they were avoiding the damage to be fair. Greens did roll pretty nice, slow for my liking but doable tee boxes were like concrete. Needed a hammer on most to get a tee in the ground so it took some searching for softer ground. Layout was fun, had a little of everything. The worst part was pace of play. But this course is attractive to a golfer that is a weekend hack based on the price. I shot a 75 which wasn't terrible but could've shot lower if I didn't wait so long between shots. I won't be back but will say it's a good get out with the boys course.

This was a very poor experience. I paid for 18 and only played nine. The reason was it took almost 3 hours to play 9 holes at noon! And the pace got worse. 30 minutes fron tee off on 8 to tee of on 9. All 4 in our group got para on 8 so we were t slow. It was terrible. No marshal in sight to push pace. The beverage cart came by once by hole 7. The tee boxes were so hard and dry you couldn’t get a tee in the ground. A couple greens had large dead patches in the greens. I will never! Never! Come back. Place is a giant ball of disappointment

Fairways in great condition. Greens were spotty, but better than last week. This facility needs more practice venues; such as a larger chipping area.

Enjoyed play. A family day of golf. Me, my daughter, her husband and his father.

It was our first time in this course and let me say the staff is great. The Marshall is really helpful and understanding we saw him multiple times. We accidentally went over the green in our cart while looking for a ball we were so fixated on the ball that didn’t see where we were driving and which cause the guys behind us to cuss us out and acted like fools. Marshall was really cool about it while still upholding the rules and what not.

There’s no cart girl and it being 102 we were definitely looking forward to beers and water while out there. The kitchen was closed there’s that.

The fairways and tees were pretty beat up.

The worst thing really was the overcrowding of the front 9, we had a single guy in front of us and he had a group of 4 in front of him. It just made us be on our toes the whole time. Back 9 were much better paced as lots of people left as it got hot. Overall we will come back due to proximity and staff but definitely needs work on spacing times out and giving time for bigger groups.

First time playing here. Hot day, lots of fun with friends. Greens were in great shape. Had to really plan each hole. Not overly challenging but it has a lot to offer and keeps you on your toes.

The condition of the course was not the best, but certainly playable. This is our fall-back course when we can't play at our home course, Heritage Ranch.

Oak Hollow is my go to home course. It’s a great course at an incredible value. Every time I’ve been the course has been in good condition with some minor issues around some of the greens. The only recurring problem I’ve had has been with some patrons playing incredibly slow taking dozens of practice swings, playing multiple balls, taking multiple mulligans per hole, and not letting others play through causing a big bottle neck in the course and some rounds pushing up over 5 hours.

Well kept, nice course. Not alot of hazards and some greens with nice contour
