About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Small, loud and lots of sand
I like a challenging course but they kind of went overboard with the amount of bunkers. Instead of bunkers, fix the Texas hard pan around the greens so a good approach shot can be rewarded with a good chip shot.
This course appears to be in a park with water events so lots of hollering which is distracting.
I do like the golf carts and pro shop.

Landa
Landa golf is a gem of the Hill Country. In order to get a prime tee time it must be done two weeks in advance though. Be careful on number 2 as a long drive will put you in the pond. The overall course is great but the back 9 is especially pretty.

Course play
To many 5 somes going out. This course is not that packed to be letting 5 somes play. I work at a golf course and we get just as many as y’all do and we don’t even let 5 somes out.

Great course
Love this course for the price point. Right on the river and in good condition. Pace of play was nice on a sunday afternoon we played 4 hour round.

Short course but challenging course layout with well managed greens.
I Enjoy playing this course -however allowing 5slow players in a group play together should be forbidden. This slowed up the 4some in front us, our group and group behind us. I teed off at 2pm and finished at 6:50pm. Please tell me this will change before I make other golf course selections.

To many groups of 5. We did more sitting in cart waiting than actually playing. I like the course, but it is always backed up
