About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Lovely course - reasonable price
We had a good day playing at Landa Park Golf. Course played well, was in good condition, and the “spectator deer” were so respectful. Only thing that was a little troublesome was that we almost were hit by other golfers balls twice in the round. Some might ha e been due to shots going where they weren’t intended, but course ow era should look at several of the holes that have dangerous spots - possibly hike 14 or 15. Otherwise everything was lovely.

Wow... Best Muni I have ever played
Lets start with the negative... There is no driving range.
That's it, nothing else negative can be said about this course.
ATTN: They do have hitting boxes so you can get warm hitting your own golf balls( don't hit to high of a wedge or your ball may slide through the upper nets and vanish...)
Parking is simple and tucked in nicely , sits between the chipping/putting greens and the pro shop. Pro shop is small to medium size but has a nice selection of things to buy or look at. The staff is incredible, super friendly, helpful, and guiding. Answered all my questions, offered suggestions, and even filled me in on the experience of my random partners for the day.
Wildlife !!! Deer everywhere, ducks waddling around and a few nutty squirrels live here.... Bring a camera, you'll get plenty of pretty pictures of Big Bucks, and beautiful landscapes looking into greens.
This course has all the challenge elements, some water, lots of sand , trees and design. Nice elevation changes, and fun turns. I wouldn't change a thing, I loved this course.
The greens are consistent, smooth, quick, and breaks read honestly.
What I think impressed me most is this... I played this course just days after a storm dumped nearly 5 inches of rain on us. The course was dry, cut, and cleaned up.
It looked great !!!
Cant wait to go back here and play again.... hmmm maybe tomorrow !!!

Good test
Doesn’t play like the average muni. Greens have lots of slope and they are quick! Fun layout w lots of options to score. Great conditions .for a course that’s always packed
Staff very accommodating. Cold beer in the bar after round.

Cart Path Only
Riding a cart on path only made play slow and the course was a little sloppy. there should be a notice that carts on path only was enforced. I wouldn't have played the course.
