About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Overall, the course is in good condition
Overall, the golf course was in good condition. The only blemish was the greens. They were sandy and inconsistent to read. I suspect in a week or two, they will be back to be in great condition.

Overall Very Nice
I have played golf courses all over the world thanks to my military background and this course is very nice. The layout is player friendly and flows beautifully with the rolling hills surrounding the area! I had a truly great playing experience here and the staff made it even better. Southern hospitality was present in all aspects. I highly recommend this course to anyone visiting New Braunfels, TX.

Good Time
Course was in great condition and the greens were quick. Lots of play and pace was a little slow, but not bad. Will be back.

The course was in its usual great condition. Because of the rain the bunkers were sloppy. Its not a hard or long course, so its great for an old timer like me (70). The fairways and greens are always very good. Thanks

Scenic and Challenging
The course is really pretty and in really good shape. You could tell they had done some recent upgrades. The greens were nice and fast
The only bad thing was the Bermuda grass rough was really high and the ball sunk down into it. Sometimes you had to be right on top your ball to find. I probably found a dozen balls and lost three or four.

A great choice
Greens are recovering from aeration which is the only negative. Otherwise, a great day at Landa!
