About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Good place and good people
The staff made me feel at home more than any course I’ve previously visited as a fairly new golfer. Plan on being a regular from here on out. I left wanting to come back so it’s 2 days later and I’m headed out for another round. Can’t wait to get my daughter in the First Tee Program here next year.

Course conditions were excellent
Pace of play terrible When I got to the 15th after four hours there were four players on the green four waiting on the tee and eight more waiting only one marshall/starter who did excellent job of starting exactly ten minute intervals after that your on your own staff does not care the group i was with left to get a rain check but i could not because of booking through Golf Now
We apologize for the pace of play issue you experienced. We always try to keep a great pace when having our golfers on the course. Ludicrous pace of play
Buyer beware. This course is great for a municipal, but it is absolute abhorrent at managing a decent pace of play. Tee times are no more than 5-8 minutes apart and there is no ranger on the course to be seen. Groups of 5 and 6 are commonplace and nobody cares. I would not recommend this course to anybody expecting to play 18 in less than 5.5 or 6 hours. Two guys and I played this course today and left after hole 15. With three holes left on the course we had already been out there for nearly 4.5 hours on a Wednesday afternoon. Again, not a bad course but waiting for 20 minutes at every tee box for the group in front that is waiting for the group in front of them is absolutely ridiculous.

Something for everyone
This is a relatively short course but has its challenging holes. Course is in excellent condition with pristine greens. More than adequate water and sand to test players of all abilities. Located in city center convenient to New Braunfels and Gruene attractions. Great vacation golf course.

Great Local Course
Landa Park is a great local gem in NB! The couple of times I’ve played, it has been in good condition and always easy to get a time. it is fun and challenging that keeps you on your toes. Always happy after a round here.

Fun First Trip
Really enjoyed this course. Decent condition, although coming from bent-grass greens in the North, the greens seemed slow to me. (My two local playing partners thought they were a little faster than usual?)

Scenic, well-maintained course in general.
Fairways and greens were in excellent conditions, The bunkers were hard and crusty. Several had equipment tire tracks throughout; they had not been leveled. My only 'negative' comment.

Great staff
Great staff. Greens a little slow this time of year but get better and better as the year goes on. Great atmosphere with wildlife all over the place. Great, tricky layout with something for everyone.

Fun track
Always busy. Always in good shape. Greens keeper does an amazing job w course conditions considering
