About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

This is the second time I've played there. This go around was great. Its always a chalange to play for me. But only one incident. Players behind us hit their ball and landed on the green. Where we were at at the moment. Nothing was said or excuse me or sorry.
Worth another visit
Course was in great shape, even the greens were very nice. Pace of play was a real issue. Had to wait 10-15 minutes on every shot. If not for pace, day would have been awesome.

Sunset Swing
A great muni track with challenging holes and an enjoyable experience. Enjoyed a warm April day with the deer and the ducks and consistent greens. Really enjoyed the short 9th and 18th holes that force you to drive the green OR bet on your 50 yard pitch landing softly. Look forward to sneaking out for another 9-18 holes on my next trip to New Braunfels.

Course is in fantastic shape
Fairways green and fluffy, greens roll good. Bunkers were also fluffy with sand
