About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Home course
This is my home course, I love playing it but it can get slow in the afternoons. This course gets an enormous amount of play but because of the incredible turf crew and greens keeper it’s always in 4-5 star shape.

Excellent shape considering recent freeze conditions.

Love this course
I love this course every time. Best conditions around for municipal right now. Cant beat the value. Love the all the water around the course, very challenging. Cart upgrade is AMAZING! Love the new carts.

Fun layout for a short but challenging play. Over booking at times can be a problem . carts are new this year with GPS! Nice. Go for it...

A good round on a good course is not about the score
Landa Park golf is my automatic go to for golf. It has everything, i.e., great layout, great fairways, great greens, great sand, great challenge, great reward! Who could ask for more. I have a GHIN 13 handicap and I’m happy to shoot in the low 90’s. It helps me be more precise with my shots and learn the best locations on the approach. I recommend this course of all your golfing needs, wants and desires!

Glad I Didn't Pay More
Although I played this course within a few days of a course of severe weather across Texas, the course conditions were much worse than other courses in this same area that took the care to protect their course conditions. Additionally, it was clear that the course management was attempting to recover the loss of business very quickly by putting out too many golfers on the course. There was at least two five-somes within my view as I played. It will be quite some time before I return to play on this course, if at all.

Short Course
Course is not for the long ball hitter. Had some slow pace players, a five some in front of us.
Course itself was in pretty good shape.
