About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Hometown Course
I play Landa regularly. The course provides challenges to make the right shot at the right time. Landa is always in great shape with nice fairways and greens. I enjoy playing this course.

Great Muni
Landa is one of the great mini courses around. Gets lots of play. Two tone at the moment is beautiful. Greens are and always are diabolical fast with tons of slope. They’re great, but good luck holing putts. Great value. Short, fun, overall great golf course.

Great Winter conditions
I was impressed by Landa Park's winter conditiions. They overseeded their fairways, so there was grass in the fairways unlike all the municipal courses in San Antonio where the grass is bare on the fairways. I highly recommend Landa Park. We will definitely come back again. We played in 2 hours and 37 minutes since we were the first group off the time.

Beautiful day at Landa Park
Landa's staff is so inviting, they can overcome most issues relative to rookie, newbie golfers. The course is always in great shape, and because they don't let fivesomes out, pace of play is decent MOST OF THE TIME. Not always.But today was stellar. This course let's you get away with a lot off the tee, most of the time, but not always, but the greens force you to pay attention when putting. Very few straight putts and they have them rolling well for middle of the winter.

Easy and hard
Took some friends who had never played Landa Park before. They loved it and want to go back. I told them it can be easy and hard at the same time. I have always loved it there and since the renovation its a must play course. I actually don't want too many good reviews then everyone will want to play it.
