About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Windy cold day
It was a cold windy morning and we probably shouldn't have played. The greens were a little bumpy and inconsistent, but otherwise, the conditions were good.
Nice City Course
Course was in great shape , fairways lie close to each other so that can be a issue .. construction going on all around certain holes.. but that a city course for you.. Nice course though.

Great course

Decent muni course
Played Landa Park for the first time. Not bad. It is a nice layout. Relatively challenging. Crossing the rail tracks and the road is cumbersome making it rather difficult to walk. No driving range. The 19th hole is nice. Small but well stocked. Good value for the money. It is a congested area of town so the noise is higher than normal but a fun course overall.

Home course
This is my home course, I love playing it but it can get slow in the afternoons. This course gets an enormous amount of play but because of the incredible turf crew and greens keeper it’s always in 4-5 star shape.

Fun course
Excellent shape considering recent freeze conditions.
Greens rolling significantly slower than normal.

I love this course every time. Best conditions around for municipal right now. Cant beat the value. Love the all the water around the course, very challenging. Cart upgrade is AMAZING! Love the new carts.

Fun layout for a short but challenging play. Over booking at times can be a problem . carts are new this year with GPS! Nice. Go for it...

A good round on a good course is not about the score
Landa Park golf is my automatic go to for golf. It has everything, i.e., great layout, great fairways, great greens, great sand, great challenge, great reward! Who could ask for more. I have a GHIN 13 handicap and I’m happy to shoot in the low 90’s. It helps me be more precise with my shots and learn the best locations on the approach. I recommend this course of all your golfing needs, wants and desires!
