About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

Their was a 10.00 dollar ride along fee. Do I need to say more. So if you wanted to spend time with someone while you were playing golf. You know like a child, your other half. Nope 10 buck even after you booked and paid for a tee two days ahead and drove 1hr and a 1/2 to get to the course. I walked out...............

Their was a 10.00 ride along fee. So I walked out and did not play. I called a reported to Tee Off. I drove 1hr and 1/2 to play. I was not pleased....

Great place to play!
We always have a great time at Landa Park. The course was in nice shape and my wife had her best 9 holes ever on the back nine! Can’t wait to play it again!

Great location on "gin" clear Comal River
Not a long course but well designed to test a variety of golf skills and course management ability. Greens are excellent . Sand traps very well maintained and consistent.

Reliably Good Track
Have played this track four or five times now and the conditions of the course are of consistently good quality. The staff are friendly, as are the other patrons with which I have been paired. A bonus this round is the course has a completely new fleet of golf carts with GPS and very comfortable memory foam seating.

Great course, very cool layout with a lot of eater hazards. I really enjoy this course but they need a cart person to sell drinks and a snack. I’m diabetic and I being a few things with me but towards middle of back nine I sometimes need something more. I’d recommend this course to family and friends anytime and the greens where in really nice condition this week.

Course
The course was very nice and in pristine condition, yet the group on front of us had one set of clubs and we waited for over 25 minuets for a hole and they were the only group in front of us.

The smell was terrible due to the fertilizer that had been used on the tee boxes. One person in our 4-some almost vomited. That down graded the round on a course I play often. There are always some extremely slow playing groups ...this was the case again during this round.

Solid Course!
Very nice Course. A Golf tournament had just completed just prior to my tee time. Course was still in good shape and we finished the round in less than 3 hrs. Had a great time!

Learning Landa
Third time to play Landa.
Last time someone behind me hit past my head. Today someone behind my hit the windscreen of my cart. Reported that one as we were told to do today by the person running the tee offs.

An unspoiled walk
It was too pretty a day to stay inside, so we headed to Landa Park for a midafternoon round. As is usual there, the course was in fine shape. As a bonus, they had just taken delivery of a new fleet of carts equipped with GPS. With a bumper crop falling from the many native pecan trees, there were more deer than usual, which helped to offset the irritation of multiple three putts on the challenging undulating greens. We teed off at 2:30 and got in 14 holes before losing light. Play was a bit slow, but well worth the price.
